since latest patch the javlin doesnt lock on to target? you get the tone and the lock on icon but once fired it goes anywhere it wants????

try this it worked for me! disable firewall/antivirus start armaII enter multiplayer (I used to freeze at this point) enter a game. once connected to the game back out of armaII reenable firewall/antivirus. everything works like a charm now!!!!

I found a fix well at least for me. what I did was disable firewall/antivirus. started armaII and selected multiplayer. Now im able to get into the multiplayer menu without a freezeup. Next you want to join any game in the multiplayer. once joined back out of the game and reenable your firewall/antivirus. you should now be able to join multiplayer. (new patch comes up as a virus to some antivirus /firewall prgms)

I suggest all with a connection issue to disable firewall/antivirus. start ARMA click multiplayer and connect to a server if you can. once you do that back out of the game and reenable your firewall /antivirus.

I got multiplayer to work but turning off antivirus !!!!!! then turn it back on once i connected and disconnected . Fsecure antivirus was seeing latest patch as a virus. Now steam OA and hardcopy ARMAII works!!!!!!

I cant seem to play it once its loaded i get "NO PLAYER SELECTED"? then get kicked back to menu screen.

its a patch problem that BIS sent out. last patch messed up alot of stuff. effects both OA and ARMAII. Still no news as to a hotfix. Until then its a single player game! You can try the beta patches but it didnt do any good. You can reinstall but it wont do any good specially if you have steam games. (steam will update to the latest patch) I tried all the above with no results.

we all tried the beta patches . it dont help.

I feel your pain ! since patch there is probably thousands that cant play the game (specially multiplayer). As to a fix well BIS hasnt said a peep yet as to what they are doing about it? Or if they are doing anything at all. Alot of disapointment coming from loyal ARMA players lately.

Is BIS doing anything about the multiplayer issues??? I went from wait and see to wth! its been over a week and no news as to any progress with the issues since last patch. I reinstalled all my games in hopes that there might be an issue with my installs but no im good its the multiplayer side thats AFU!

problems with last patch that was pushed out and not fully tested caused all kinds of problems. hopefully there will be a fix soon .

when are they gonna fix the multiplayer problems???????????????????? both arma2 and OA no multiplayer. if i do try and log in or select multiplayer the game freezes

they know of the problem just gotta be patient I guess cuz they wont figure it out any faster by complaining I guess.

here i go again!!! I have a hardcopy of ARMAII and steam copy of OA both booted fine before the patch but now i can only get to the menu on both ARMA II and OA I can play single player and game freezes upon making the multiplayer selection??? otherwise prior to the patch everything worked fine?

its being worked on ! its not only steam version btw. but you can play single player still i bet!

need to wait it out and post in the steam forum about the problem. btw its more than just a steam problem. my hard copy of ARMA II wont load multiplayer either but play single player fine. What ever happened to trying the patches first before release????

once again steam is behind the eight ball as usual!!!!!

just played and there is a bug of some kind. flying the A10 you cannot lock on the targets. the hellfire missles fall short. same effect on the other aircraft aswell.

any addons except ACE would be alright. thks for the reply !
