People stop saying that things like fire from vehicles, and Hopefully a possible Resting Weapon features are going to be paid, because they said that features are Free! (and that has to be obvious because the bipods and things like that will most surely be attachments) The Content is the only thing that you have to pay for! and if you don't use it, the pop-ups won't bother you! I'm not defending nor accepting the new system just saying something that many people seems to have miss for not reading the Devblog.

I think they are considering if give the features for free and the content paid, gives them more sells than giving the features free and content in low resolution and expect that people pay for the high resolution content. The Split as I said before is imposible to evade.

I'm with you in that one! there are many missions that I don't play because the requirements are not of my taste. That may be ranging from quality to simple taste. The only difference is Mods are free and DLCs are paid, but the fracture of the players may be the same

The old system didn't work (to some people and developers), and the new system may not look too good to everyone, I get that. But is also true that many people doesn't bring an alternative that not invole bringing the old system back. Just a thought

You're right, and that's the way they most likely use to figure out that the old system wasn't good enough, neither for them nor to the community. We may not always understand it but metrics is the way to make sure if your decision was the best, the thing is if you're aiming to make more money, make your costumers happy or try to find a balance (which I'm sure is the way BIS is trying to do things)

The existence of Premium content will always split the community, the question we need to answer is which one does less damage to the community. Looking for a perfect way is imposible.

I'm with WulfyWulf too, nice idea trying to make a combined strategy at least addresses this: "For our players, it could quite drastically affect their perception of quality. For example, if a player was unaware of our 'lite' approach, they'd play a game with high-quality content mixed in with low-quality content - thinking this was either a bug or poor production values on our part. There was no real sense of what was and what wasn't DLC." If people didn't have idea that the content they were using was a Lite DLC version the message will let them know and give the oportunity to buy it from inside the game.
