Yes, same here. No error messages if I start in combined mode. And the game seems to run faster as well. If anyone else with the steam version is having the 'no entry' problem, go to your steam library right click on Arma 2:OA and select 'launch Arma 2: Combined Operations'.

What?! Okay, I know little about such things, but when I opened the rpt file it was about seven thousand pages of warning messages. No joke. Seven THOUSAND pages. Is it supposed to be that big?

Same here: no addon, no mods, no extra missions, nothing.

OA is running fine; especially after beta patch. The problem is the initial loading. After the splash screens and before the main menu there's a 2-5 minute pause with just a black screen. When the main menu finally loads I get the following message: no entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/Ins_Soldier_Base.scope'. That's it. I close the message and the game runs normally. It's more of an irritation really--waiting 5 minutes to get to the main menu is a bit of a pain. I have the original arma II and it loads with no problems. Any ideas?
