worse and worse. Even when using the default settings and then choosing the settings that you began with, the game gets worse. Meaning mouse lag it terrible. Now I can't even get the game to play very well. Running the newest patch 1.52. This game needs a serious patch. Any ideas?

This beta patch states that it will update the game to 1.52. But I am already at that version without ever having installed this beta. Are you using the Combined Operations retail version? If so how did you install the latest patch? The instructions for folders does not match the folder I have.

I installed the latest noVidia driver release 258.96 and it fixed most of the problems. Not perfect but much much better.

I experience this mouse lagginess too. I tried mouse smoothing, maximum pre-rendered frames, and ingame video settings but nothing will get rid of this problem. It seems like the mouse does not have a high enough priority within the game and/or it doesn't poll enough. Anyway it makes the gameplay irritating. I believe this mouse behavior is an ingame problem which needs to be solved. So BIS please check into this. Nothing seems to help. Now that I tried several ingame settings the game will not play as well as it did before changing the settings. I defaulted the settings and then set it up again the way it originally was and now the performance isn't what it was to begin with.

noob here. This is a game where four hands would be advantageous. Wow I have never seen to many keypress assignments before. I am having trouble adjusting the mouse speed. The problem I have is the speed when zoomed seems faster than when not zoomed making aiming difficult. Is there a way to adjust the zoomed and un-zoomed mouse speeds? Also is there a way to use a different color for the reticle? The green is almost impossible for me to see. Plus the reticle is as large when zoomed as when not ... is this normal. Is there a way to zoom faster (it seems really slow)? W7x64, i7 965, gtx480, logitech mx-518 mouse. My puter seems to run this game without any difficulty so far. However I have only been in the trainer and single player missions.

here's a stupid question ... what is the difference between the two command verbages 'use default action' and 'use selected action'?

Another question ... the Command Menu. I can use the Space bar to show it and use the wheel to move up and down to highlight a Command, BUT I can't activate it. The mouse won't do it so which keypress is supposed to activate the command?

I just purchased Arma 2 Combined Operations. I installed Arma II. I then installed Arma II OA which applied the 1.06 patch to Arma II. Now I am somewhat confused about what other patches need to be installed. Can someone help me out please? Also if there are patches for both games, is it mandatory to patch AII before AIIOA? I have downloaded from the official website the AIIOA patch version 1.50 to 1.52. My AIIOA is now at version 1.50.70996. Should I apply the 1.50to1.52 patch? Also I was in the Options section for keyboard assignments and I clicked on Next button and the AIIOA CTD. I was shocked ... I thought those kinds of bugs would be non-existent. Are there any instructions on how to operate the keyboard assignments section? Anyway maybe by tonight I will be able to get some game time. lol Thanks in advance.

I turned the shadows off and no more problem. W7 x64, i7 965, GTX480 with 258.69 driver release.

Just got the Combined Operations games today. I have floating shadows. Has anyone experienced this weird problem? Any ideas how to fix this problem?

I installed the 1.50to1.52 patch and the Next button appears to be working so far. Although I have no idea if the patch fixed it. Also thanks for the file pathes.
