Thanks.. Thats exactly what I was afraid of. Our Control panel (TCADMIN) does not allow for the exe's to be swapped only paths and mods can be altered. ---------- Post added at 04:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:04 PM ---------- Well I have it up but now I am getting The server goes up but in the lobby it is listed in RED and is unjoinable with the error Bad version error. I have a new issue thread with my procedurelisted here. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=101599
  3. Ok this was my procedure. I have a stand Alone install of Arma2 Fully Updated to V .107 I have a Stand Alone Install of Operation ArrowHead Fully Updated to v1.52 I copied the OA install and pasted it to the ArmA 2 Directory so it now contains both game Content Fully Updated. I execute the arma2oaserver.exe With these parameters. -config=server.cfg -port=2302 -profiles=D:\ClientInstalls\demouser\GameServers\TC31382447634482742465302\ -name=server -maxplayers=32 The server goes up but in the lobby it is listed in RED and is unjoinable with the error Bad version error. The OA console reports Version 1.52. Where did I go wrong?

Jman. Do we need to call the seperate EXe's to flip flop from OA to regular Arma2 ? This post here suggests we do not. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=100974&highlight=dedicated+server&page=2 Counts 14 and 16

So which exe needs to be called? We can run both ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 OA from the same exe? Which exe to call? Ex.. -config=server.cfg -port=2302 -profiles=D:\ClientInstalls\demouser\GameServers\TC31382447634482742465302\ -name=server -maxplayers=32 or below for OA -mod=Expansion -config=server.cfg -name=server -port=2302 -profiles=D:\ClientInstalls\demouser\GameServers\TC31382447634482742465302\ -name=server -maxplayers=32

Actually the installation isn;t screwed up, it was installed as advertised. A STAND-ALONE EXP. Also transfering 7.7GB of Data to Australia from the US does take a while. There are also players able to join that server. What I'd lke to hear from are the DEV's in this matter. Are we to understand that if installed and run as a stand-alone people that have both ArmA2 and OA can't join a Stand Alone OA Server? Does this also mean people with the Stand Alone EXP OA client without the Arma2 Content can't join a server that has all the files? Why woud it be allowed to be installed as stand alone then? WQhy would it need a seperate EXE? At that point if both sets are needed it should just run the same EXE and call a EXP Folder.
