  1. I just ran the game in admin mode and it picked up the trackir and is now working. That may be why some have it working by default and some do not.
  2. Tried updating the games list and it still does not work. It works perfectly in Arma 2, just not in OA :/
  3. Yes it's showing up in game but the trackir software is not recognizing the game as a TrackIR enhanced game because the blue light is not coming on. I can activate and deactivate it in the menu though but to no avail. edit* I just tried disabling and re-enabling it in game and it still did not work.
  4. Hey guys, I have been playing Arma II now for a while quite happily with my trackIR. However OA does not work which i assume has to do with the profile not recognizing the new executable. What I find strange though is that others who have OA have trackir working by default it's just recognized for them and works out of the box. This is a bit strange and I'm curious whether anyone can offer some suggestions. Thank you

    ARMA 2 OA 1.52 :Bugs

While playing online today I crashed both times I tried to access the ammo box and once had a hard lock requiring a computer restart after someone else in my vicinity opened it. I also got bugged and stuck in a helicopter on 4 of 5 rides and was unable to either eject or get out. Only way to fix it was to respawn.

Question about Arma 2 and OA integration

Thank you sir, that's what I was looking for :)

Question about Arma 2 and OA integration

because I have alot of games through steam but I don't want or need all of them on an SSD drive because they really don't need it, just Arma and DCS which benefit from the faster terrain loading times. Steam is very restrictive about where you can and can not install things and I want to avoid that.

Question about Arma 2 and OA integration

That doesn't really answer my question.. Do they both need to be in the same folder tree similar to the way mods currently work or is it a separate folder path you can add? I don't want to have all my steam content on the SSD which would be necessary if I were to have A2 on it. If I had to I could just buy A2 again but that would be a last resort.
  9. I did a forum search and didn't find anything so here it goes. I own Arma 2 on Steam but I would like to buy OA through sprocket. Will that cause a problem with integrating the two of them? My eventual goal is to have OA on a seperate SSD but I would like to not have to all my steam content on the SSD as well. I'm just trying to figure out how this will work and if it all needs to be installed into the same folder. Thank you,
