I have a GTX 285 Video card 1 gig card, and having problems starting ArmA 3 Alpha. I am at work right now, so I dont have all my computer specs, but I am using Vista SP2 64bit, Ram 6gigs. I am having an error popup when loading, related to Direct X . Sorry cannot rememder exact error message, But I have loaded the current Direct X. I cannot even start the game, I never leave the steam console. I have verified the cache with steam. Any help would be helpful. Thanks

I hope this is the right place to ask this question. I am trying to locate the file fuelcan_b_co.paa from the install Disk, I keep having a popup that says its missing. I thought I could extract this file from the disk. I didnt want to do a complete reinstall. I have updated to ver 1.62. I have the ArmA2, ArmA OA, and all DLC disks.

I installed the 1.12 Ace mod, changed the keys setting with the ACE settings setup.Then after I removed ace from my game launcher, I cannot change my difficulty settings, some settings are in red and locked. I have removed the userconfig file, still doesnt work. But when I run the ace mod with the userconfig files, I can change the difficulty settings, I have search all threads and could not find the answer.

That is what I am thinking, when trying to install on another computer, it detects a different computer. I will try to redownload if they will let me, directly to my ArmA OA game. Thanks, fireman107

Hello, I downloaded Arma 2: British Armed Forces, from sprocketidea on one computer, moved it to my gaming computer, and now it will not install. Says the following: "ArmA2 Operations Arrowhead DLC Writing of licence file failed" I have both ArmA 2 and ArmA OA installed together and updated with all the latest patches. fireman107

Its when I install the game itself, I cannot install the game on my computer.

I bought the ARMA2 PC-DVD software from BEST-BUY here in the USA and I cannot enter the CD key provided on the sticker inside the case. Says the key is invalid. This is a new install of the game. I am using Vista 64-Bit system. The game came with a game disc and a manual disc inside, with a white lable sticker inside the case. I have tried to enter the key uppercase,lowercase, using the letter O and number zero. This is a new install, Any ideas. Please Help Me Thanks fireman107
