Yeah me too. But generally "some" MODs really enhance the game ( visually ) and others may alter the "intensions" that the scripter intended ( via AI behavior ). After you learn the mechanics of the game, then start trying a MOD or so. They can really give a whole dimension to the game.

LOL, papercuts suck. I got my hand caught closing that ammo crate. Then tripping over that damn rock... just kidding. Actually I'm not really sure about the hit location ( switching between MODs too much ) other than being leg-shot tends to lead to being unable to stand or walk. As far as First Aid, I don't believe so. Prehaps the pros will offer additional info. Btw, MOD usage with the default missions is generally not recommended.

I thought you could create a shortcut on the desktop thru SixUpdater. Preset -> New Preset. Then rename it and add your MODs to it. Then right-click on it and select Create shortcut in desktop folder. -

Be sure to restart after you change those settings. Once you go back into the game everything should appear normal. -
umm is it the normal FPS for my computer?

I've got a Toshiba Satellite A505: CPU: Intel quad core i3 (M 330) at 2.13 GHz each GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 310M at 512 MB DDR3 RAM: 4GB DDR3 My fps were around 18-20 with low settings. But after changing to AToC=0 in the ArmA2OA.cfg, lowering the res, etc. I now get 30+ even after upping all the other settings. However, around dense forest and heavy smoke it does drop a good amount. -
Just in case you didn't know, Steam has an option for automatic updates. I believe its... View --> Games Details. Then right-click on ArmA II and select properties. You should see a pop-up list with a tab... Updates ( giving you the option to keep it auto updated ).

You can not play/edit this mission
Noctis Spectre replied to Buckly's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
From what i've heard, the original campaigns work best without MODs. But if you loaded a MOD then started a campaign/mission and saved... you would need to have that MOD loaded again to continue, otherwise you get errors. Hence, be sure what MODs you want loaded before starting a campaign/mission. Else deactivate the MODs and restart the campaign/mission from the beginning.
