AWESOME. Much thanks :) I have a question for the remove action thing. Where do you put the "_gen removeAction _id"? In a trigger? ---------------------------------------- I've been testing this and it's not working. They won't join my group when i hit rescue. Also, there is always a rescue option in my Action Menu no matter how close i am to the hostages. Suggestions? -

skydice, don't feel left out. Im at about the same map editing level as you. The easiest way to help get comfortable, IMO, is to do a simple rescue mission. Im working on one right now, and for the first time, i can say that the .sqf files dont make me uncomfortable and lost. I would try it out. As for the UAV, I would really appreciate anyone's answer to this. I could use this aswell :) -

Heyy guys. For my mission, I need to "rescue" 4 civilians. My rescue.sqf is Each unit is named accordingly and the scipt works just fine. However, I'm trying to make each unit separately rescued. When use the action menu to rescue one, they all join my group. Should each unit have a separate .sqf? Thanks in advance :) EDIT: CRAPPP. Wrong section... If one of the moderators could move this to the correct one, that would be lovely :) Thank you. EDITx2: I've got everything all sorted out. But does anyone know what the script and the addaction command thing to make them leave me group?

I'm almost 100% sure that collecting every piece of evidence is not necesary to get a "good" ending. Like you, I too, was worried about the lovely people of Chernarus getting pillaged by the Chedaki. ;) I literally found 1 or two pieces of "evidence" and all turned out well. Later on, you will need to make more important decisions than finding evidence. Good luck with the campaign. :) -

You have to switch to manual fire. :cool: This same thing happened to me aswell. I think it's because we are "taking too long". -

I have been looking everywhere to try to find out how to mod with steam. I didn't have this problem with ArmA II because I had the disk version. Simply, I'm just trying to find the "Mission" folder so I can play a few other missions. Thanks in advance.

You dont put the anim in their init line. You put it in a trigger's On Act field. Hope that helped clear that up a little. PM me for more information. -

Hey guys. In this mission im working on, you happen to stumble across an enemy road checkpoint. I put 4 or 5 cars, with civilians in them, infront of a make shift checkpoint. There is an MG nest (empty) on both sides of the road, as well as a rifle man next to it. For some reason, all of the civilians get out of their cars and just lay on the road. :confused: I tried to move them away from the enemy and set the civilian rankings higher. Im not sure if any of that would make a difference though. I think it has to do something with the civilian's threat level towards the opfor. I wouldnt know for sure though because i am not very experienced with making missions. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advanced :) -

i love it! The harbor is a nice little addition, as well as the little village near it. Like the rest of the people, i think you should put some farms onthere. Good luck :)
