Hey folks, Playing with the editor, I created a part mission where you can Self-insert/extract using radio and UH-60. You start near a helipad and once you get inside, AI will drive you to LZ, and will stay there. To dust off open radio and click RTB, chopper goes away. Targets are in 2 tents close to the runway and by the Tower. When you're done, get to the East end of the runway and open radio--> Call for extraction. This should take you back to where you started from. In Documents/Arma 2/ Missions folder create a folder and call it Chopper%20lift%20and%20drop%202%20FINAL.utes inside it, create using notepad a text file and call it "mission.SQM" paste this code inside and save as type-->File then preview in the editor and change as you please. Heeeellpppp!!! My Editor files dont work!! mission.utes files are there but when I load any I get the stupid "Warning: File is Read-only" and nothing.. not even a preview button. HELLPP!!!!:mad: -

Well I posted the same question and it was very stupid to get no reply from the folk here. I just wanted to tell you, if the thread isnt answered, either you pissed ppl off (in this case we did) by not searching this, AND/OR, the thread went far down by other fresher posters here ( in which case you open the thread and post a reply, like UP, to get the thread back up). Back to yer question, yes, I have that same problem. I tried the same desc and init, no luck. I think description does it.. maybe OA editor might work? -
Hey folks, I want the gunner view to be cleared of ALL UAV HUD, compass, altimeter, speed, and the weaponry. I tried I also want to use the FLIR mode but in stock ARMA2, not OA. I also want to disable the AI commanding me with waypoints or at least, muffle the voice (radio chat) which I tried radioVolume0 but no luck.. My idea is to use the camera footage without the stock template, cuz I made one. Ideas please?

use the timeout feature after counting time from start of preview, then set trigger to work at this delay. -

dotted rectangles are the gunners field of view current (little white square) inside (big white rectangle= guncam view cone limits).. and they say I'm not military,.... -

Hey folks, I created a script for camera.sqs for a SA6 tank firing a missile onto a F-35 but cant seem to get the camera to follow the missile after it's launch, using the attach to object in the camera.sqs file. This is my file: This is a video you should watch @ 720p I made for the script and how it behaves: n6HIK4hnHcI I liked the second take with the missile in flight , smoke and steering towards F-35, but I want to get a back to front view like a tracking view, or bulletcam view (possible?:j:) for the missile itself In the code portion I have attached the camera to the Jet and set a timer for 60 seconds to run before the cam is destoyed, this is not depicted in my video. tracking not attached :butbut: Any ideas? -

I like this idea and sure should get the community working on some good Machinimas, just please use a good voice editor, dont cough and sneeze (unless the mission dictates doing so) no wheezing, and dont poom poom the mic cuz we got ears too. Heey Arma fans, today I present my first scripting trial in a mission called Night Op. Main objective: clear the airstrip. Hey all, I want to put all or at least select weapons from the ammo box labelled ''US Special weapons" inside the UH-1 back seat Gear 'G' menu. I tried assignAsCargo, moveInCargo, addWeaponCargo, even tried the attachTo command and only managed to get a chopper with a weird looking nose.. I've looked at Arma 2 weapons naming from the wiki m16a4_acg this got my attention, and I tried it on with a chopper named ''helo'', only to get nothing at all.. please advise because I'm new to scripting too and I'm sorry if this went to the wrong forum.. this is the thread at http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?p=1751571#post1751571 moderators please close the other thread and keep this one here. regards.
