We have had full 120+ user tests (simultaneous, on the server and ts3) with no issues. -

No one reads the FAQ or notes :( Only our latest test builds support the beta builds. I have to build each beta version's support into JayArmA2Lib. And to get them to run, dsound.dll needs to be copy next to the beta exe. This is documented on the wiki that no one likes to read.

It is not an ACE bug nor an ACRE bug. The FAQ explains what the problem is and what the possible solutions are: That means JayArmA2Lib isnt loading which means you are: 1. Using the internal mod launcher, which doesnt work with JayArmA2Lib 2. You are using an out-of-sync sprocket version of OA 3. You have conflicting mods in ArmA2 and OA. 4. Your mod line is incorrect.

That is correct. I support communicating with external applications, and also native string manipulation (arma2 SQF doesn't have things like contains, substr, etc). Those are the two main features I use it for anyways :) It also has a built-in SQL database.

Good call on that foxhound. I'd chill until we at least get a first major patch on OA, which I'm sure is imminent because people are HAVING to use beta to play properly hehe.

NOTE TO SPROCKET USERS: If you get "incompatible version" error when starting the game with @jayarma2lib, this means you are running a slightly-off build of OA. It even says your running 1.52; but your not running latest 1.52. Sprocket release was: 1.52 Build 470264 Official 1.52 patch build is: 470330 The patch can be retrieved at: http://www.arma2.com/support/updates/folder.html

Dev-Heaven updated for steam OA compatibility!!! Updated to version 1.2 52 hours of non-stop disassembly, and I finally got it. New steam updates will be much quicker. Thanks steam packer :)

Also, ACRE in OA has the same issue ACRE+ACE+bwMod has; radio's don't work. We will not be putting any time or thought into OA-compat until after 1.0 release. ---------- Post added at 08:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:59 AM ---------- Humble Request: A request to all of you who have been using any of the "black market" copies of ACRE being distributed (e.g. your not in our official testing skype channel) If any of you are running a copy of RC7 or later, we, the dev team, *really* need to get a hold of dumps of the TS3 "Hangs" everyone seems to randomly experience. I say *hang* and not crash. If you are running ACRE, and TS3 just hangs and is going to require a task manager kill. DO NOT KILL IT. First, do the following: 1. Open Task Manager 2. Right click the 'ts3client' process 3. Select "Create Dump File" This will tell you a path in your TEMP folder where the dump file is located. Please e-mail this to me (jaynus@gmail.com) or create an issue in our tracker with the dump attached. We are currently unable to re-produce this hang, an suspect it has to do with JIP.

This is correct. I support both 1.50, and 1.52, non-steam. 1.52 steam makes babies cry right now. Working on it.

Your best bet as of right now is to remove dsound.dll when you are playing OA, or wait for my next version of JayArmA2Lib. Currently (in our latest ACRE builds only) I support OA 1.52 retail *only*. The Steam version is a completely different box of fuuuuuuu im working my way through right now.

Sadly, this is heavily dependent on the TS3 encoding and codec used. Most of them are already doing waveform normalization for the compression; which means everything is within a small, audible band (and doing pass-filtering is basically pointless). ---------- Post added at 07:27 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:27 AM ---------- Those bugs have been fixed.
