  1. Another thing I dont like is the reason why Max is there:

he became a private guard in a completely new Country and leaves the past behind ecc ecc bla bla..

I mean, seriously the "Became a private guard" is one of the most generic, foresee-able things you can think of.

It would fit in every story in this world!

    EG:

-After all his adventures were over, Duke Nukem decides to became a private security guard--> totally unrelated sequel using famous IP.

-Gordon Freeman decides that he had enough of all the vortigaunts and G-Man so he becames a private security guard--> totally unrelated sequel using famous IP.

-Spiderman decides that he had enough of all the crazy bad guys in New York so he becames a private security guard--> totally unrelated sequel using famous IP.

-Luke Skywalker decides that he had enough of all the Jedi stuff and going to work to Yavin 4 so he becames a private security guard--> totally unrelated sequel using famous IP.

Hell, it would work even with a farmer!

-A farmer decides that he had enough cow-milking in his life so he becames a private security guard in São Paulo, leaving all his cows and dark past behind.

  2. Trailer

I know its too early to judge, but cmon, Max is supposed to be a sad guy, looking for vengeance lurking in a dark, cold New York, not some kind of Bruce Willis gansta, fighting under the sun against boss "Felipe Da Silva Ribeiro Do Nascimento Gomez Ecc Ecc" only because Rockstar needs money.

And yes, I dont want to like this game! :p

  3. The aspect of being shot by friendlies sounds tricky to implement, I hope it wont be like:

"Ok guys, I'm going to use an enemy uniform to infiltrate the area."

    "Ok, cool!"

*Wears uniform in front of his squad members*

    "2:Three.Target.That.Man.At.12.O'clock"

    *Bang*

    "3:Hes History."

  4. The grand opening of a empty shop. I'm not going to pretend to be all excited, it was an epic fail and everyone knows it.

You again? The countdown clearly said we were getting new intel.. And what did we get? Infos about personel, factions, island and some features nobody knew about. If you are unable to understand what new intel means and were expecting "actual gameplay" and got all hyped up, then there is nothing BI can do about it.

    Edit: Ninjas!

  5. Ah, I see.. Well HD footage instead of filmed is one of the few things I wouldnt like to see, anyway.. But that depends on how you value the graphics of a game, I guess. I dont care that much, to be honest. I know its going to be better than Arma OA, and thats good enough for me, as I find the overall graphics of Arma to be stunning.

Maybe with a bit less bloom, but everyone knows that, even BI, so..

  6. I hope the videos show us what we want -actual gameplay footage.

How can they show us "actual gameplay footage" if maybe they still have to implement render-to-texture, new animation system or still have to tune physics, the AI and stuff like that? Maybe its a bit early to ask for that..

If they had gameplay footage they would be already selling the game..

And anyway what would be the difference from this so called "actual gameplay footage" that "we" want and the ones we got from GC2011, to you?

  7. I dont know about that arabic thing you say, but I dont know if I would call the Lybian soldiers that diserted traitors. Right minded suits them better perhaps. Of course looking at the matter from a non-militaristic point of view. From that point of view they would be the devil himself.

I dont even think most of them really hates the rebels. They are fighting for their freedom, in theory, while the soldiers are fighting for what? Just to let a clown roam around the world with sunglasses and with his circus and amazons(speaking of ideology here, not money or material things.. Of course soldiers get paid and have privileges)..

But then again this might just be my very external point of view. Lybian soldiers probably dont see things like this. Or they arent allowed to see them like this.

  8. i can ensure you that is typical of the middle-east people, of south-italians too, to join the winner by leaving the boat that could sink.

Because we are not trying to generalize here, are we? FPDR

Plus Lybia is not even part of the real middle east anyway.

  9. Yeah I know some Arsenal's players are famous for screwing up badly a lot of times but I believe that in two 90 minutes games the strongest team, that is Arsenal without any doubt, will be able to prove it's superiority.

But then again, individual fuck up happens and may very well lead a team to the defeat. Plus Udinese still has a bunch of very good players (ie: Di Natale, the most prolific striker in Serie A in both the 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 seasons), so who knows..

  10. Since you guys are speaking of Arsenal I will just throw this out there:

Yes, I'm a Udinese fan.

    51310.th.png

But I'm not too confident for the elimination round, since Udinese just lost two valuable players like Sanchez and Inler.

Plus, playing against such a famous and skilled team like Arsenal, our players might also have to overcome some kind of inferiority complex or stuff like that.

Well I hope they will put up a good match at least.

  11. 1st Playthrough:

Game starts, I take the sheet and the pillow. I think ok, its not like I'm going to do a lot of things with a pillow, so why not to give it to my wife? :)

    *Chokes wife*

Oh man! :butbut: I now understand the comic posted in the first page.

    2nd Playthrough:

Well... I just burned down the house while makin soup..

I'm just into it but I'm positively impressed so far. Now, to the third playthrough!

  12. After adding Merkava and Tavor :) this question Will you buy ARMA III? Become rhetorical question! Sure I will :)

Of all the features confirmed until now, the presence of assets like Merkava and Tavor is maybe the less significant imo, since they are just models, but good to know.

  13. Big thanks to Martin for the Carrier Command demonstration, Jay for the Take On demonstration, and Ivan for the Arma 3 demonstration. That was truly excellent to watch! :)

    Yeah, they all looked great!
