Is there any way to tell AI gunner in a helicopter to turn on the laser designator in ACE 2? Otherwise, you can't use most of the guided missiles playing pilot. -
Last nite, I reloaded it. It worked this time. However. some weird thing still happened. This time all 3 tanks spawned okay. But they stopped long before reaching that spot marked by orange circle. But the dialogue started anyway. lol

For always faithful mission, I selected not to help def the town, but board the chopper and left. Does that have any effects on later outcomes?

I am only using ACE 2 mod. So I need play this with vanilla version? Looks like the third tank got destroyed somehow. That's maybe why I only saw 2 tanks with 2 crew men walking on foot. Also, AIs drove their tanks like they just had several bottles of vodka. The vehicles were going crazy on the road. :D

You mean the spot marked by that orange circle rite? I was there, but no dialogues. Also, the radio from HQ said there would be an armor column. I only encountered 2 t-90s and 2 crew memebers walking on foot. Also, I waited a long time for them to show up. Are these the people I am supposed to talk to? Or maybe the guy that can start the dialogue got killed in a traffic accident? (friendly traffic accidents are so common in Arma 2 lol)

Great Campaign. One of the best I ever played. However, I am stucked at Mission 5 Steamroller. I went up north and set up a roadblock. Russians arrived, but they just stood there. There is no1 I can talk to. I waited 5 min, nothing happens. So what should I do next?

Yes. I am using ACE2. I think the vanilla Arma 2 does not have the problem. Pressing optics button meaning right mouse button. Like normal way to use any kinda small arms sights. Sorry about being at the wrong place. -

After I expend all my grenades, I can no longer look into the ACOG sight. Pressing optic button will make you look over the top of the scope rather than into it. But if I don't use up all my grenades, it is fine. Am I not doing anything right here? -

Weird, it doesn't work for me. I tried both manual firing or non-manual firing. It seems you can only change from Sabot to HEAT through gunner or loader position. Btw, what does ctr+r link to under your control setting? (reload?)

I still think there is still significant AI pathing/routing issue with 1.05 update. Often times, my teammates get stucked between buidlings. Somtimes, I order them to board a helo, they will keep banging their heads against the tail of the plane, not entering it. Often times, I need switch between team memebers to get them unstucked. -
I think that only switch between main gun and coaxial machine gun.

Hi, I am new to this game, still trying to get a feel of the game. I am wondering if there is a way to order your gunner to switch between different ammo (i.e. HEAT to SABOT). Also, after installing ACE2, all my mounted machine guns (i.e. guns on HUMVEE or M1 tanks) lost their crosshairs. Is there a way to get them back? I notice the crosshair is there for Chinese PLA tanks, but not for Americans.
