writing in bold are tips to get you in the right direction can someone please make a replace file for the venom? replace it by the uh60m_ep1? (or teach me how to) cant seem to find the venom anywhere in the game anymore and it really screws up the harvestred campaign... -
If you put it like that than this is flying a F/A-18: take off, fly hours and hours, refuel, push a button, fly back, land on deck. sounds boring too. No matter how realistic a sim will be, the mission will never be as realistic as: fly to point X wait for possible CAS request and RTB after 3hours because request didnt come.

I cant seem to find it either, disabled all the addons but still no Venom :( anybody had the same problem? and since when?

you can do this by making it activate by anybody and than group it with the members you want it to activate on. -

I'd just love the AH-64! great to see the A-10, hope it is more a CAS game with FAC support than missions that are just like: fly to X destroy armour, RTB. B-1 would be intresting for a change :)

Yes I have, the damage seems to only be in the cirle when you do a "hellfire strike" so you can even pick out 1 person out of a group and leave te rest alive and kicking. maybe give it more area damage or something. A Hellfire has 8 to 9 kg of explosives so equivilent to a antitank mine. thnx for the attention ;) -

*best addon till so far* This brings so much more to the game. really impressed what you did again! the UAV is great, providing anti tank capicity to even the smallest infantry units and finally I'm able to see something with an UAV without the constant turning and crashing after contact. Nice new sounds for the AC-130 and great to see the AI version show up with all that violence after 2 minutes :) good to be able to adapt the height and radius in the map. especially at night its great with the tracers. Is there a way to give the hellfires from the UAV more area damage? shooting a group of takis will only kill 2 of the 5. Keep up the great work. -
He prevented a disaster from taking place! Dont want to imagine how it would be being captured by those people... Good to see he got the propper award for this. :)

and like OA and like the real deal. I love it the DOD decided to finally buy some "tacticool" things like rails, lasers, flashlights, grippod and aimpoint. weapons evolve, the real military will adopt and hollywood will reflect that as will the gaming industry with products like MW2 ---------- Post added at 11:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:10 PM ---------- "wives don't like them in the dishwasher." james bond dit it before ;) same plane an crew are in the movie "air force one" where they extract people from a flying aircraft. (gotta love hollywood!) must be a extordenary experiance being lifted off with one of those. would it be possible simulate this in the editor by letting the plane fly over the player. make it attach to the player by sling than shorten the sling slowly until just behind the plane than fade out black and fade in again while in one of the cargo slots... whole time the cargo ramp should be open unit fading out, than close, place player in seat and fade in again. maybe make the player be in the parachute mode when lifted would make it nice. will be an intresting script ;) -

any updates on the ULB flying in cirles and units prefering the glock over their primary weapon? these problems where reported a lot and a while ago, just after OA was for sale. -
new surfire ones are good at doing this, there is a lot of development lately on supressors especially by surfire. and I never played hide and seek with you so dont call me matey ;) ---------- Post added at 12:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:55 PM ---------- the thing you are shooting at will notice the difference between sub- and supersonic because the bullet shouldn't make the snapping noise when shooting subsonic. not really relevant when you dont have human opfor.

A propper supressor on precision rifles could act like a sort of compressor and barrel extention, giving the bullit extra energy and, more important, the same amount of energy every time. Subsonic ammunition prevents the distictive *snap* when the bullet flies by and breaks the sound barrier but even with supersonic munitions a supressor would be a welcome pierce of gear. Because it will keep in the exhaust gases you wont have leafs and dirt kicking up when you shoot so you will be harder to spot. Besides you dont need to wear hearing protection.(depending on the type of supressor/weapon btw) To bad only SOF gets these toys issued ;)

The same thing was said about movies and games many, many times before, this is just political scare tactics, dont take it to serious. btw, anybody remember the smoking ban in cafes?.... ;) -

Needs less trigger pressure to make it go boom though. maybe this is the reason why wo dont see so much of the Glock perfection in hollywood?? ;)
