  1. The 21st U.S. Army Ranger Regiment is an active ArmA 3 clan whose goal is to provide players with the most realistic combat experience possible while maintaining a mature, calm and relaxed gaming environment.  1588328.jpg   The 21st Ranger Regiment is looking for experienced Arma 3 pilots, or personnel interested in joining "Whiskey" Air Team (Aviation Squadron) within the 21st. Whiskey Squadron is the primary aviation element for the 21st U.S. Army Ranger Regiment. This squadron is comprised of three or four flights with a total of 12 to 24 aircraft, depending on the type of aircraft. This element operates alongside ground teams to deliver aerial recon, transport, and CAS (Close Air Support.

    More About Us....

More Than Just a Clan The 21st Ranger RGT has always maintained an aspect of brotherhood and respect throughout our player base. We pride ourselves in maintaining a mature, friendly, and helpful environment. All of our users are dedicated to the overall well being of the unit as a whole, and we place a heavy emphasis on the individual player. In order to function as a combat-effective team, players need to know each other well enough to gain a sense of reliability. You are never referred to as a number here, and strength is found among friends.

We've Been Here For a While This is not a newly started group. The 21st Ranger RGT was founded in 2010, and is bordering on 5 years of active service. The core of the unit is comprised of seasoned ArmA veterans who have witnessed the game develop from the very beginning. Our command staff is experienced and knows how to keep a mission together. That being said, we welcome new additions to the team with open arms.

Relaxed Realism Relaxed realism is a term that we apply to our style of running the show. Military simulation doesn't have to come with drill sergeant screaming, virtual push ups, or similar "experiencesâ€. A calm and composed atmosphere is maintained at all times during operations. Power trips are not welcome here, and over-the-top rage is left to the kiddies rather than the serious players. What it comes down to at the end of the day, is that we are all here to have fun with an extremely realistic style of combat.

Equal Opportunity Any member of the 21st Ranger RGT can progress through the ranks, work through our NCO training programs, and find themselves in a position of responsibility. Too many units are founded by individuals seeking virtual power trips. Rest assured this is not one of them. We welcome new leaders and realize that you cannot recruit an NCO off the streets, you have to build the NCO. It has always been said that what you get out of this unit is dependent upon what you put in.

Consistent Operation Schedule The 21st organized operations every single night. No other ArmA clan in existence can boast that they knock out seven operations in a week. While none of our events are mandatory by any means, we still manage to pull an average of 45-65 players a night for our smaller operations. The only time operations are not actively held occurs when the servers are down due to technical problems (which hardly ever happens), or when training/drills take the place of an operation. Members can rest assured that if they are online, something is happening with the 21st.

  2. Wow.

    Thank you very much Ranger!

    This is just awesome. Really!

It makes me really happy that so many people especially in this really nice forum in this awesome community enjoy my preset so much. And on top of that even help each other out even if I am not around immediately.

And now you made a video just to show the rest how to install it - That is so nice of you. Thanks for all the effort.

I am sorry that it is meanwhile such a messy way to get it to work seemingly.

The guys over at the ReShade project do such a great work and are constantly updating their project.

I couldn´t keep up with the latest changes they made and port Real Light correctly yet because of other projects of mine.

So I am even more thankful that you took your time to made this video Ranger. Again - that is a really cool move to me and the community.

May I use it on my project page of Real Light V5 until I get things right with the latest changes and make the installation easier again?

    Kind Regards

Oh course you can use it, everyone loves your preset!

  3. I included all the textures in the source pack I posted a link to in a previous post. Poke around in it an use what you can if you want to.

NZXSHADOWS, could I get permission to port this to DCS World? I can change whatever needs to be changed if you like. The game is really lacking on newer vehicles and your vehicles are superb. I will give you full credit. Thanks for any consideration in advance.

  4. Thanks man! I'll look into the issues with the pilot. Regarding the JIP markers you can always disable the "no good ones" in the parameters. This should minimize any desync. I'm still not sure how I'm going to handle those in the future..

Played much better today, turned off JIP markers. Do the vehicles still respawn in this newest version?
