  1. Well there hasn't been much "showcasing" in terms of the flying from Take On Helicopters in Arma 3. there's not been much detail either. What can we expect from Arma 3? will it have ToH Implemented Fully? (Interactive Cockpits, Flight Model, ect ect)


  2. Hello guys is there a script/is it possible to script breaking the sound barrier? i.e in a jet? I have seen some of the addons made for arma witch include this feature but it seems to just make a "bang" sound to everyone on the server no matter were you are as soon as the jet gets over a certain speed.

    so can we do it? and can we do it realistically ?

    The reason i ask is because i want to use the feature with the addon im making. With ACE you get the visual effects but no sound.

    Sorry it's took me so long to release something so simple. I simply wanted to test it in my clans Current campaigns to make sure it was perfect (Operation Oryx & Operation Linstock Check www.16aa.net for details.)

    you guys will be happy to know that the harrier performed fantastically well during the operations, therefore I've decided to release it. there may be one or two tiny bugs, but we can iron them out as them come.[/ b]

    Installation:

    Unzip the @Harrier Gr9 Mod into your arma2 directory and launch game with this mod included.

    OR

    Unzip the Harrier.pbo file into your another custom mod folder.

    You can find these retextured Harriers are listed under BLUFOR->BAF->AIR.

    BIS' BAF DLC is recommended (but not required) as the Pilot and Crew are BAF models.

    Currently undergoing some major changes for a V2.00 in the future! keep tuned :)

  5. Does the RKSL Bombs work with any planes without ACE?

    Do you really need the ACE MFD system?

    There is another MFD which has more features seen here:

    Yes they do but because I’m using ACE, it's system takes over and the RKSL bombs don't work with Lasers because of ACE's new system. So I need to

    A: add the RKSL bombs to ACE's system some how

    B: Disable the new ACE MFD/Laser bomb system (no idea how to)

    My advice is to open up the config for the AV8 and see if you can find any related lines in it. You can do this by dPBOing the relevant ACE PBO it or just use the in game config viewer.

    Shouldn't be too difficult. ;)

    Edit:

    Look in the config for ace_sys_mfd, you should see this:

    From that I'm going to guess you need to add this:

    ACE_mfdClass = "ace_sys_mfd_Plane_MFD_Dialog";
    

    Into your config.

    Although....

    	ACE_mfdClass = "ace_sys_mfd_Plane_MFD_Dialog";
    };
    

    That makes me thing it'll be activated already, maybe...not sure though!

  6. Hello I am trying to get the MFD system that is in place for the AV8b to work with an addon that I am trying to make using the RKSL Weapon pack. I was trying to find a way to do it and came across this...

    “All ACE basic features are supported for all 3rd party addons. The only requirement is that the addon is compatible to CBA eXtended Event Handlers.â€

    Is there anyway to make the RKSL Bombs work with the AV8b / Any Aircraft in game? and if so how?


  7. Please do not remove them. I went on the MMA thread yesterday to ask for a fix related with using MMA's GPS targeting system with the Stormshadow, which i'm happy to say Mandoble fixed quickly, providing a test version there (check the latest posts), so one could actually use them as cruise missiles.

    Ok i will make a seperate Class just for you with stormshadow's :)

    Can't wait to give them a spin.

    I have to ask though sth about the stormshadows, have you been actually able to use GPS targeting on them?

    I Recently Made the Choose to Remove the Storm Shadow's Since there Superly Over Powered! 1 Missile could take out a entre City and not so realistic in the way that the harrier would never carry them. I have replaced them with some other RKSL ordnance
