  1. Are you going to include ladders on some of the compound buildings so we can get onto roofs?
  2. Reading Ground Truth at the moment. I have Task Force Helmand and am gonna start that next week as im off on hols to Oz. Long flight = plenty of reading time. This map is deffo gonna give us the ability to create some realistic missions.
  3. Arb have you read Stuart Tootals book?. there are some pictures of the Sangin dc FOB which look interesting, a building of the same type would be quite good in the built up area. and give us a location to mount ops from.
  4. It is beyond me way BIS have taken so long to make a Afghan/Pakistan style addon. Ever time there has been a community map based on Afghan it is always downloaded in droves. OA does look good but i hope the campiagn is better than amra 2's. OA does look like it will have plenty of new desert units for us to use, BIS have even done their own WMIKs.

  6. Now heres an idea. Bear in mind I know nothing of making islands etc. Could irrigation ditches not be made in a similar process to the walls?. 2 knee high walls running parrallel approx 2-3 metres apart.
  7. The paras did mount a few air assaults which could make for some interesting missions.
  8. Cool stuff. Just been reading 3 Para by Patrick Bishop and its given me a few ideas for missions. Bit of an editor novice but will put some effort in with this island to learn the knewances of it. If the buildings are half as good as the terrain its gonna be mega!.
  9. Will the buildings/compounds be mainly in one built up area or will there be some outlaying compounds away from the main village. With some out laying buildings a good distance from the main area we could create some cool "cordon and search" missions.
  10. shame about the ditches but the odd berm wouldnt hurt.
  11. Had to join to comment on this map, looks fantastic. I will deffo be creating some SP missions for it. Will there be wadi's and irragation ditches to fight out of?. Also with regards to the FOBs. As some have said a massive main base isnt needed. In the editor a FOB and PB's could be made and would also give the editor more room in designing missions.
