We cant get the BTC revive to work in the mod version. I set it to on in the mission parameters, but when you get killed theres a short countdown (couple of seconds) and then you automatically respawn. And also the teleport to team only works one time even tho i set it to after respawn. -

This is more a general question: How (or more precisly where) do I edit the roles that come with the MCC Template mission (MOD version). Specifically I want to make a new group with my own custom loadout. Also, is it possible without to much work to save gear on a dedicated server? My idea is to start our players in civilian clothes and with no or very few weapons, where they will roleplay people that take up arms against the local milits/oppressors. Some of the objectives for them will be to get their hands on more gear, and so I would love the ability for them to be able to save the gear until next time we play. Can it be so simple as saving the gear in VAS and loading it up next time they log on? -

Well, you have to realize that for the low price you pay you can't really expect that much support unless it's something that doesn't work on their side. If you want fast professional service you have to rent a dedicated server and pay a LOT more. I'm not saying it should be like that, but what you can reasonably expect when you pay such a small amount of money for a service like that. I had my server up and running 1 hour after I payed for it. -

Sorry for the noob question, but I have rented a dedicated server, Installed MCC and a couple of other mods and they seem to work fine. But how do I start an empty mission like the mcc template mission on the server? I just want to start with an empty map and use MCC. Sorry for being so dense but I can't figure this out. In my server.cfg what do I put under class missions? (the server I rent come with default mission) I would like to remove that and only have an empty map where I can use the MCC console. I have tried to figure this out, but when I have added other missions to the code underneath and copied the .pbo file to the server you can connect to it but you never get past the 'loading screen'. I.E the role selection screen doesn't appear. class Missions { { template="mcc_sandbox_raider_v3.Stratis"; difficulty="Regular"; }; class wasteland { template="Sandbox65_GoT_Wasteland_V23.Stratis"; difficulty="Regular"; }; }; Also, the first page of this thread mentions .sqf files to edit, as far as I can see the mod doesn't contain any .sqf files to edit. Can someone please answer me like I'm a complete idiot? :-) I have never made missions in ARMA before, or managed a dedicated server so all of this is new to me. I have hosted missions successfuly myself using the mission version but that's it. Also, when I play the wasteland mission the mcc console is there and appearently works but it says access denied when I try to do something(yes, I click the login button first). -

A question: I've been using the mission version and changed to the mod version (took a while before I realised the difference). Doing so I noticed that BTC Revive is missing from the mission parameters, does that mean I have to install BTC Revive as a mod when usind the MOD version of MCC? Other then that thumbs up for your hard work and looking forward to the new update. By the way, is there a way for us to support your hard work via Paypal or similar? -

Hostages dont seem to work. I can secure the hostage but he stays his hands behind his back and wont move. I have the exact same problem. I can secure hostages, and they automatically join the group and I can give them orders but they don't comply. -

Hi, Great mod! We use it successfully for coop. However, we do miss the radio squawk sound at the beginning and end of each transmission. Right now there's just a little klick noise, is there any way for us to exchange this sound to something else? -

First of all, thanks for a great mod! A couple of noob questions after playing around a bit: 1. I created a zone and tried to spawn an infantry unit but it said there was no good position, the zone was small but not that small. It was in a forest, maybe 30m2. I tried several types of units. 2. I created a patrolling unit inside another zone, but after a while they went out of the zone and left the area. I guess this relates to the different AI settings. Are these explained properly some where, because it's hard to know which ones to use. 3. I have experienced several times that spawned convoys blow up, I guess because they are spawned in conflict with other objects. The problem is that the spawn point is exactly that, a small point, so I have no idea which direction or how long the spawn area will be. It would be great if the same or similar effect was used as when you call for airdrops. -
First post, just discovered Arma 2, love the game, a bit frustrated with the official campaign. My teammates doesn't do what I tell them, and I find the missions quite difficult and buggy. I've come to the part where you get control of the NAPA army, and it's not so appealing to me. SO ... I'm looking for user made missions/campaign of quality (is there a vote or ranking anywhere?), and specifically, although I can't find it, sniper missions. I also haven't downloaded any mods or extra content as I'm new to this game, but I am willing to download mods if required by the missions. Looking forward to some input from those of you who have been around for a while. Cheers
