    I'm having the exact same problem as the OP, when i look at the throttle while its on full, i get the option to set it to idle, however after that my only other option is to turn it back onto full and i get no off option.

    Other than that though the game seems absolutely awesome fun to play, great work BI!

    Edit: I'm using the steam version, if that makes a difference.

    Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong with trying to run this on a dedicated server? I only want to play by myself with the AI, but using LAN mode appears to be buggy right now as i can't build anything and the AI often stands around doing nothing.

    For some reason when i try to join my dedicated server i just get a black screen saying "Wait for host", i can connect find if i disable ACE etc so i don't think its a port/firewall problem.

    I'm using A2/OA in combined ops mode and have installed ACE using the six updater.

    Heres my dedicated server shortcut: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\ARMA2OASERVER.exe" -config=TA2DST_config.cfg -mod=@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_RU;@ACEX_SM;@ACEX_USNavy;@CBA

    And my server cfg file:

    How exactly do you install this mission? I have downloaded ACE with the Six Updater and my shortcut looks like this:

    -nosplash -mod=@CBA;@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_SM;@ACEX_RU;@ACEX_USNavy

    I'm running the game in Combines Ops mode.

    But what do i do with the WarfareBE_066_ACE_10.Takistan.pbo file? I assumed i am meant to put it in my MPMissions folder, which makes it show up in game when i try to start a LAN server but the mission name is blue and when i click play, nothing happens.

    What am i doing wrong?

    How do these specs sound?

    Core i7 920, will overclock for sure

    6gb RAM, not sure which brand, any suggestions?

    GTX260, will most likely upgrade to a GTX 295 when i can afford it, or maybe one of those new ATI 5xxx series cards?

    Windows 7 64bit

    As for a power supply and motherboard, i have no idea, what would be best?

    To the original poster, are those specs your "New" PC or current? My PC is just like the one you listed and the game runs ok with view distance set to maybe 1000 and in game settings set to low. But again, I'm running this game at 2560x1600. I'm upgrading as soon as I get my tax refund and hope to at least get something like 40FPS full time if possible at this resolution. I'd like to see people post more of their system specs and h/w.

    Those specs are my current PC.

    Sorry if a thread like this has been made before, i did try searching but didn't get any results.

    I have decided to build a new PC as mine doesn't run this game well at all, and i thought it might be a good idea for everyone to post their specs and the FPS they get in the benchmarks so that i can get a good idea of which hardware configs run this game the best.

    Heres mine:

    Processor: Q6600 @ 2.4ghz

    RAM: 2gb

    Video: 8800GT 512mb

    OS: Vista 32 bit

    HDD: 5200RPM 500gb

    Bench1: 22fps

    Bench2: 8fps

    All my settings are set to normal with 1280x1024 res and post processing off.
