Thank you for sharing that with me. I did set it to 100%/1:1 now and I can certainly say that things are at the very least mildly better. Just searching to see if I have correct/default/native aspect ratio then I should be having optimal experience I think :) Thank you. -

Hi. I'm had Arma2 for a while and I want to start playing it again. One of my problems with it is the graphics. I have them all set on high because I'm fortuante enough to be able to do that but sometimes I just can't tell what objects are at all. For example, I was 40m from a kind of 'oil pump'/drill that swings into the ground. Combined with the noise and 'awful graphics' I thought it was an enemy APC. Another example, I can't Identify vehicles 200 metres away. They are just a blur (especially when moving). Is this normal or is there some kind of setting to help with this. For example, I do not understand the graphic setting '3d resolution'. Any help is appreciated. -

Hi. I wondered if anyone knew of a guide or way to end a mission. The 'mission' itself is more of a 'playground' and doesn't have any triggers and so how could I define the end of the mission/round. Maybe time? How would I do that? -
SPG Jeep isn't launching anything

Update:- Offroad SPG worked then randomly started to fail again (this is all happening in the editor preview by the way) not tried as a real mission. This new fail resulted in the projectile launching but exploding at an invisible wall. I had the other SPG next to it, got in and that wasn't effected by any invisible wall. -

:j: Nice suggestion but I did buy and pay for the game and expansion. Well, it's only an issue sometimes which is really strange. The normal offroad SPG 9 hasn't had any issues so far :) -
Hi. The thread title somes this up. Edit:- Turn speakers down or mute the video. q3z7A8MZmIs I place an SPG Jeep (not pickup...the jeep has lower chasis and open air cabin, no roof) in the editor. Place a heli to fire at (heli is set to fly) but most of the time all that happens is a smoke/launching animation with no projectile. Other times, there will be no projectile but damage will appear on the vehicles status meter each time I fire (eventually to the ppoint of the vehicle going up in flames) and I am not aiming low or close enough to hit the vehicle. Other fire tests in the video show that firing it at a small peice of fencing multiple times does nothing. Firing it at a pickup also does nothing at all.

Plus, this way they don't have to find a download, install it correctly and find the many addons it may require.

Go into the Bios and disable Hyperthreading. That would be the first step. That's if I recall correctly anyway. OC if possible. Use a RAM disk because youcan with 12GB. Optimize the shortcut with cpu count 4. Those are my few tips.
