Hi everyone. First i would like to say thank you for a great site.... After finally finding my Op disks after a move i decided to install them on my new custom built machine. Specs as followed- Athlon II x2 250 (3.4GHZ) 4Gb's of 800mhz kingston ram ATI Radeon 4770 512mb (2) 1tb cavier black hard drives After the install i decided to crank up all the settings thinking it would run perfect. It didn't. It lagged like i was trying to install Crysis on a commodore. Even lowering the visibility didnt do much. When starting a mission it gives me a change code error. I tried all the steps i found online to no avail. I changed my page settings to maximum i tried -no map (no addons so it was pointless) Its so confusing how my new rig is having so much trouble playing this 9 year old game while my old single core 1gb laptop was able to run it fine. Thanks for any replies. :)

Thank you for help. Im a little bummed i can run it full spec but in the end playability always wins out. Cheers

Sorry yes Cold War Crisis/Gold Upgrade/Resistance. I set the terrain detail on normal and i got that change code error again. This is so frustrating. How can a 5 year old laptop run this game great and my computer have so many issues? Although is the framerate issue because of faulty software? Or because of my computer? Is there a patch or a fix for this?
