wouldn't the body rotate in the opposite direction of the blades? equal and opposite force physics thing coming into it cant argue with what you've said tho seems like what would happen. I cant wait to have a crack at it.

so if tail rotor fails speeding up can be good in some situations? (ie linear speed)

well almost through boot camp. the wiki helped me alot. game seems to have its bugs. mostly in boot camp as far as I can see. had a crack at an online server (that was empty) drove a bit to an objective got bombed by a frogfoot managed to bail and get away then evaded a Hind in some trees ....then got killed by some inf I didnt even see.:butbut: I can see I will get familiar with the last part before I get it :rolleyes: trying view distance settings, 1440*900 seems to be best rez so far. Got me a 22' display and yes I'm def into team work its what has won games against much better players in DC BF2 and COD4. I'd say if a team can work well together it's more effective than a bunch of heroes trying to be Rambo

yes I hope it does I only have a AMD2 x2 core @ 2.6ghz 2g ram and a HD4850 anyone know if this is enough? I'm running the boot camp in 1080p full so far:yay: I'm a bit of a AH64 fan and am often told I'm the best in it in DC but of course in DC there is very little resemblance to real life physics and you can be amazingly aggressive with the hellfire and hydra. :D (anyway enough boasting, I'll go try landing with out rolling it now)

hey wow thanks for the welcome & help guys that ARMA wiki is just about to get sucked dry (hope I can find what I'm doing wrong with the F35 VTOL part of boot camp) I love a good sim so things like starting/turning off the engine are not an issue :)
