    i feel the same, would be very cool to have a function to haul dead teammates back to base. you can "unload" dead or wounded people, but it would be cool to put them back in
  2. hello you mentioned to use the interaction key to see special options for AI units? how exactly do you do this? Ive search all over the ACE website, Ive found the "keys" page, but it doesn't exactly say which key it is.... any info is appreciated. thanks :D:D:D:D
  3. ok heres my problem...i placed both SOM and simple support module. and what ive notived is that if you have simple support module placed while the som module is place, your not aloud to accept SOM mission becuase the simple support module overwrites the 2 slot. which is normally som accept/decline option.... anyway around this?
  4. yes i am? well what im trying to do is when playing ARMA 2 OA and on the takisan islands, i would like my secop missions to spawn the right factions
  5. HELLO EVERYONE! i have ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA installed, but when playing ARMA OA and i use the secondary operations manager in my editor, when ever a mission is created such as attack location, Russians spawn instead of the takistan. how do i get each faction to spawn for its appropriate map
  6. i have the EXACT SAME ISSUE, I don't think my comp is quite as good, but i still have an easy time running other games. so im stumped as well. this problem rarely happened in ARMA 2 standalone, but now im playing ARMA 2 OA. and it happens every time i play. its just a bummer because i can't enjoy this awesome game.:confused::mad::confused::mad::butbut:
  7. just to add to the forum, i also get this problem after maybe 10-15min of games play the game will go into a huge lag spike and not come out and just freeze. sometimes the screen as it freezes, also blocks out in little resish tinted block

HEY guys i have a bit of a problem, i only use ARMA 2 Operation arrowhead, and not the original ARMA 2, there are only 2 presets so i assume the one to use is "A2_OA_ACE" but my problem is, the original Game works file when i start it up with no mods. but after installing ace, i get an error message on start of game and when entering missions or placing units in the editor, the type of error i get is (No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/Rocker1.scope), does anyone have any idea what this means or how to fix it??

    OK, i only have ARMA 2 Operation arrowhead installed, just the standalone expansion, and not original ARMA 2. SLX works for me to an extent, but as i start up the game i get a message saying some PBO like AI_Identify.pbo requires Utes, and since i only have OA installed, i don't have utes. are there any plans on making fixes for people who only use OA?

  12. hello i have a simple question? if i only have ARMA 2 Operation arrowhead installed, which preset do i use to obtain everything for ACE_OA.
  13. hey guys, im not sure if Ive seen this before, but i can't find it so i was wondering, is there any ad-don or mod that allows random civilians from the ambient civilian module for the new ARMA 2 Operation arrowhead, to pull out ak's or any kind of other weapons to ambush you and take you by surprise, such as the type of guerrilla warfare going on in the middle east right now? for example, say you and your squad are walking through a town, for over watch to make sure everything is OK in the town, passing by all types of civilians, when all of the sudden a civilian pulls out an AK and starts firing on your squad. is there anything to make them do so??? if so please help i would love this for my realistic modern warfare game play. thank you :D... ps. i thought i saw it on some youtube video but can't seem to find it now.
  14. hey, im using the standalone OA only. where can i find a list of what kind of Changed ACE offers to OA, then just using OA out of the box??
  15. ALSO does anyone know if there is a way to Set the Numbers for simple support module? such as putting the different options on a different number? such as maybe starting is from the number 3, so that the secop will still work with it.

  17. ahh so then ill need to uninstall everything and just reinstall OA to get secop to work right?

  19. so how can i get the exact support that you do with the simple support module? becuase i like the unit drop and mortar strikes.. but as i recall the som doesn't give unit para drops?
  20. ok guys i have a question. now i had original Arma2 and figured since i have that already ill just buy the arma2 operation arrowhead cd. now i installed that and figured that would make is combined forces as well, so use the ACE OA combined forces Preset? or would i still need to use the ACE Stand alone OA? also how would i combined to two if not combined once installed?

Ok guys quick question. i just bought OA and im confused on how to start using ace with it. maybe someone can explain or put a link up to where i can read step by step on what to do, or how to install it once i install OA and combine them, such as which option to use in six updater whether is the ACE (OA combined forces) or just the (OA stand alone), also what would be put in the short cut field? for example is there an ACE_OA? or does it use the same "ACE" folder, any help is appreciated, thanks.
