Glad that there’s still people that play Arma! I’d just like to say that the project isn’t abandoned. I just had a few weeks where I felt no joy at all of creating missions and I didn’t really knew how to get back on track but it seems like I’ve got the energy and intrest back agian. I am currently soon done with mission 13. Each mission seems to take 30 to 80 minutes to complete - but then I only play them in the editor mode with unlimited saves and obviously the knowledge exactly how the mission in built but I think it hopefully will take quite a time to complete the whole campaign. I believe the campaign will feature at least 17-18 mission but the goal is to reach 20. I’ve noticed it takes pretty much time to create each mission. However, what really is dissapointing is the lack of action/movements scripts in Arma compared to arma 2.. and the most intresting ones is for queens gambit only. I dont know if theres more, but the only list I know for the moment is this one: http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/ArmA:_Moves Is it possible to use the CWC moves in arma?

Is a pain in the ass for me. After all the tasks are completed I want a helicopter to arrive at a certain location in order to pick up my crew and fly it back to my main camp. It works fine; I use triggers to make the helicopter arrive at exactly the right moment and it lands in the exactly right position. (I use Helicopter land"land";). The problem is that the helicopter doesn't really wait for my crew to enter. It basicly lands and just fly away to the next waypoint. Question is: How do I make the helicopter wait for my crew to enter?

I don't understand why Hitman has to get more accessible. In my opinion It's not that hard at all - and I don't say it to be arrogant - but really - it depends on how you play. If you want to get Silent Assasin on each and every mission in the game, sure, it will be very hard for most people. But as a matter of fact you're not forced to play like that. You can go rambo if you wish and your character are able to take a lot of damage. If this game gets more ''accessible'' than the other hitman games - without any options to do otherwise - I won't simply buy it. And I believe that other people will think in basicly the same terms wich potentially can result loss of the core audience.. I hate how games nowdays has to be accessible just because of money even though It's perfectly logical. The 'cod' audience already got plenty of games to choose from but the 'hardcore' audience doesn't have much to choose from at all - and still all games should appeal to the codies leaving the 'hardcore' audience outside in the cold with nothing just for the sake of making more money.

Personally, I am not hoping for more expansions to arma 2. I think there's already plenty.

http://playstationlifestyle.net/2011/05/28/io-interactive-hitman-absolution-will-be-%E2%80%9Cmore-accessible%E2%80%9D/ I am kinda worried. Reminds me of ''It's really about making it fun. All games should be fun. And that's why we're moving out of this..''

It seems like when I sync it the chopper won't land. It only hoovers above. I placed two WP for the chopper. One called Load, and the other called Transport unload. I placed one waypoint for my team called get in. I synced the get in WP with the Load WP but it didnt work. The chopper wont land. EDIT: It's fixed! Thanks for your help anyway! I went on messing with the spawns and I found out that I could simply command the chopper to 'Join and lead'.

Depends what goal BI have. I don't wan't to buy a shitload of expansionpacks just to get more vehicles because it wasn't enough in the orginal game. So therefore, it depends.

I wonder how much all this advertising CMs is up to cost? Not just ads through TV, magazines and such - but also all those interviews - I mean Sion's been in Germany and so on. Obviously, Red River must have been cheaper to develop than Dragon Rising. They even used the same graphics engine from Dirt 3 and they removed pretty much stuff; map editor, multiplayer, SDK, aircraft, tanks, APC etcetc. What I do not understand at all is why they removed so much stuff. Was it for economical reasons? Maybe DR was a one shot - hit or miss - and that the Devs got lack of economical support from CM when they were about to develop red river? I don't know.. What did they expect? People clapping their hands for the removal of the features mentioned above? People jerking of to the Buzz kill, or whatever it was called? If they would have taken DR and improved what people were complaining about - and of course if they haven't lied to damn much about dragon rising and dropping the support for it - I would probably play this game myself despite the fact that I outright hate it now. Sure, it wouldn't have been Flashpoint to 100% - That's impossible, but CM are not even trying. Oh, by the way; search ''Sion Lenton'' at Google.. -

It’s impressive that Red River actually sold pretty well. However, that shouldn’t be mistaken for a measure on how good the game itself is. Dragon Rising sold pretty well too but as far as I remember a lot of people were not happy with the game at all and there was a lot of complaints on the official forum board and people ditched the game not long after It’s release. I didn’t like Dragon Rising very much. The mission design were terrible and I didn’t even play through the whole campaign. It was too boring and dull. The only reason why I bought the game was because I first though it was a real sequel to Cold war crisis wich I played when I was about 11-14 years old. Unfortunately, it seems like some people don’t want to talk about Red Rivers flaws and some of them rather try to see the positive side of all the stuff that most people consider as negative. Saying things like ''Alright, let's say you can play it as both a simulator and like an arcade game'' or ''I think CM did a good job on this one focusing on COOP only, aswell as removing helicopters and such. It makes it more realistic since marines don't fly helicopters.'' ''I think Its good that they added health packs. You don't have to use them either. Its really about selfcontrol'' or ''I'll buy the game and if it isn't good I will just sell it'' -

There's no doubt that Arma in buggy as hell. But here's the diffrence; BIS actually release patches and try to resolve the problems their fans encounter. Codemasters and this ultra idiot Sion Lenton do quite the opposite. Like when they stated that they were 'done' with the dragon rising project dispite all it's flaws and problem. This dipshit asscrap shit, Sion Lenton, even stated when asked about future support in forms of patches that: ''*sigh*Yeah, let's hope so. That's the way it should be, really. And you know, in an ideal world that's what you wanna do basicly, but you know, we do what we can.'' This douce should be banned permanently from working in the gaming industry. He can't be trusted. And sadly enough, there are no consequenses for his behaviour. -

So, when I use a trigger to start a certain music track the music starts up when I'm inside the trigger point- unfortunately, if I die and load the game the music doesn't restart. How do I solve this?

''Omg! U bunch of trolls out there bashing this game...this game is the best Of the year for this type of game: tactical shooter. I am so impressed with the intro, the story line, the graphics, the animations, the dialogue (omg this is one the funniest lines: " gonna kick your arse so hard google won't even find it")' for those who can't stand the language, get out of the kitchen if it's too hot for ya! The devs have only done a fantastic job, they have set down a bench mark for this type genre, good luck to anyone else trying to copy it. The downside for me is that the day is not long enough for me to play, I only get a window of at least 3 hrs here n there, so played it like crazy last night. I can see myself playing the missions over and over because I enjoy watching my ai react to my orders, they r so fluid like, so clever. At one point I was shot down, one came to my rescue, but not only did he clear the enemies, then he fixed me but he also stopped fixing me at one stage to conrtinue to clear the enemies...it was a moment! The vehicles r awesome, the vistas r crazyly awesome, anyone not getting this basing their decision on negative comments will b missing out on a great experience!'' Isn't that trolling..? -

If BI could.. develop a 'sim' for console and maybe Flashpoint would sell less. Or any other company for that sake. Because It can't be possible to screw it up more than Sion Lenton and his thugs. -

Well, sometimes I don't really understand the reviews IGN publish. GTA IV got 10/10 for instance wich I've never understood. I have been playing the gta series since the release of the first, orginal gta, and I wouldn't give gta iv 10/10. What really is intresting is that Rockstar gives exclusive reviews with pretty much tells the whole story; It's all goddamn business. They also blacklist sites such as Joystiq that gives them unfavorable reviews and/or previews. The fact that arma 2 got a lower score than dragon rising is pretty depressing since most of the dra players are dissapointed with game and there's not many people that plays it nowdays compared to arma. -

@flashpointredriver Hey, my buddies and I are all big fans Operation Flashpoint. We're read that you guys work with the producers of Generation Kill, since you've already taken homages to the series, we were wondering if you could make a DLC that change the Marines' skins from all MARPAT to the Woodland MOPP Gear from the series, along with the Tri-Color DCU MARPAT mixture seen in the later episodes and PLA "Republican Guard" skins. We love both GK and OFP and would happily pay any price for it 360Nomad 4 hours ago -

Well, I was registered on Codemasters forum when Dragon Rising was released (or before, can't remember exactly). I registered to join the community, and because I was totally dissapointed about the game. The mods at the Red River forums are obviously hardcore fanboys. They seems not make any negative comments about red river, and if doing so, It's done very carefully, and they can't stand people that complain. Forums like that are there for people to complain. If I am buying a product and if I don't like it I have fully rights to complain without getting banned. I am not really getting paranoid. It's obvious that I am shadow-banned. No replies, posts doesn't show up when I'm offline, isn't that very obvious? The fact that they're using shadowbanns pretty much proves that they obviously get angry when people complain about the game. Still, people are ignorant enough to say ''Why are you still here if you don't like the game''. What else are the forums for, if not freedom of speech. The mods even remove posts they consider as ''trolling'' (e.i. complaining about the game). EDIT: Well, don't bother to reply. I believe the discussion should end here before we're getting any infractions. -

Wow, the mods at the Red River forums are really desperate. I've sent various mails to Codemasters support about the shadow banns I've received, but they haven't answered a single one. The mods have probably banned my e-mail adress also in order to make sure I can't contact anyone. Because I've sent mail to the support before and they answer very quickly. -

They apperently do so. I have recently sent an email to Codemasters customer support. None of my posts appear when I log off and I've written in various threads - plus - no one replies either. I am not sure that I can send PMs either. They also bann people for criticizing the game. Maybe I am repetetive, I don't doubt that but look at this; One of the reasons that I was banned this time, was because someone replied to me like; ''It's a conspiracy!!!!11'', with a funny picture to it. I replied ''So you don't understand that Sion have told lies about Operation Flashpoint?'' and for that and ''Misc'' I was banned for a week. -

In that case, I believe I would get a message that says ''You post will appear when It's been approved'' or something like that. But I don't. Thing is, It's the same thing in every thread I write in. I've tried in about 4-5 other threads, and as soon as I log off, I cannot see my posts. EDIT: I am not sure I can send private messages either. -

Alright. Because I am not 'officialy' banned anymore. But obviously, they're afriad that I manage to write negative stuff about red river - and still not breaking any rules. This would mean that they wouldn't be able to give infractions. It's kinda sad, isn't it? -
