    I had a similar problem. Is your CPU overclocked? Mine was overclocked to 3.5 from 3.2 ghz. Went back to 3.2 and hasn't crashed since.

    Is you CPU overclocked? I was having similar problems in WindowsXP. Reseting CPU to default speed cleared it up.

    Hey guys new here but old ofp1 veteran. Was having trouble with 1.05 crashing to desktop. Have pentium IV 3.2 ghz was OC'd to 3.5 ghz. Set back to 3.2 and crashes have stopped. No crash problems with previous versions or other games for that matter (when OC'd). Funny thing is game seems to run somewhat smoother. Will post comp specs if anyone interested. OBTW EW is AWESOME!!! GREAT JOB BIS!!!
