Well, as with many things, it sorted itself out! On the 7th install it behaved and correctly installed itself. I did de-check it in "Read Only" Properties, and I think that may have been the answer. Thanks again, Tankbuster.

Thanks for the comeback, Tankbuster. No, I can hit 'Ignore' and it just dumps the install. I tried changing the Attributes of the file but as soon as I hit 'Apply' it dumps again. I've cleaned the DVD twice, but no change. Strange, because it originally installed with absolutely no problem, and I had to re-install both ArmA2 and ArmA2OA because I upgraded my hard drive and lost all my games, etc. Duh! ArmA2 installed just fine.

I hate to load others with my problems, but I have to ask for help here. I'm in the process of re-installing Arma2OA, and all was well with re-installing ArmA2 and then patching to 1.59, but when I tried to install A2Oa I ran into a problem where it would install to about half way, then I'd get an error message saying "Cannot create file. C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma2\bis.url" I've tried to install it four times but the same error message. I turned off all Firewalls and Virus protection when installing. The shortcut on the CD for the Data file where the file resides shows an icon with an "A" and an URL of "www.arma2.com\arrowhead". Shouldn't it show the "bis" URL? It's properties won't allow any changes. Can anyone help?

I know ShakTac plays with a lot of people but they may be a little too serious for me! LOL! I'm an old guy with a fair bit of game experience in ArmA2OA mainly as a gunner for a Cobra Gunship, but Inv44 really appeals to me.

I'm having a hard time finding any server that I can join to play Invasion 44 at my U.S. West Coast time, which is GMT + 8hrs. Can anyone help, please?

Superb work, dude! I've been trying to understand how the various formations work, and this is the best I've seen! Even me, at 79yrs old can understand it! I'm still having a problem with getting the different Menus put up, though. Which button brings up which Menu, etc. The game KB Card doesn't help much in that. Thoughts?

I have exactly the same problem, Trickster. My d/l was fine, no problems, but when I try to play the mission all I get is an error message saying "Script scripts \fog.sqs not found". If I continue it's a white screen with green diamonds moving around and normal sounds. It shows the mission as D+1 v 0-2. I've tried to find the fog.sqs but nothing found. All other Missions are OK. Anybody help? As a footnote, my hat's off to PacUK and the other programmers for a superb mod! I'm pretty old and remember D-Day 6th of June very well, and feel that I'm reliving history! Thanks, gentlemen.

The A2 is correct, but there is nothing after that. I have OA.exe installed in that folder but there is no actual A2OA folder in there, just the icon. And I just have the ArmA2 Combined Ops icon on my desktop. Is there any way I can make a snapshot of the C:\...........\arma2 folder and post it for you?

Thanks for the prompt reply, PvP. I actually gave you wrong info. in my post. The link I have is "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2" I installed the @I44CO folder in there. Should it have gone into the Expansions folder? And do the Missions folders go in the @I44CO folder or into ArmA2? Perhaps you would give me the correct string and I can take it from there. Thanks.

I have a similar problem in that I have an installation of ArmA2 from Steam, and an installation of OA from a disk, which combined to form ArmA2OA/CO perfectly. (C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\ArmA2OA.exe.) My problem is, where do I install "Invasion1944?" In the "Expansion" folder or the "ArmA2" folder? I added ACE and ACEX and CBA to the target line in the shortcut, but when I play I44 I get everything coming up in the Single Missions list, not just I44. Any thoughts?

Does ArmA - Armed Support support TIR4? I'm trying to set it up but no go. My TIR works fine for other FPS games.
