I've had a bit of a break from ARMA3 and recently came back to transfer missions I have made to altis. But with the deletion of many items, my missions wont load. I am after the correct procedure in removing these items, they are things like mk6, the assault boat and things like that. I know I delete them in the mission sqf, but need some more specifics. Any help would be awesome/ Thanks in advance, Milo

Just curious, has the newest DEV build removed some marker files making the debug for AI marker not to work? Edit : I went back to non dev and they appeared fine.

I'm losing the "call for extraction" action after dying. is this intended or am i doing something wrong? I have the player setVariable ["NORRN_taxiHeli", slick1, true]; in the team leaders INIT. by the way, it's a MP mission. I'm pretty new at this stuff, please let me know where I have gone wrong. -
All the task are getting completed on every client. But only one client is seeing the task hint comeup on the screen and its not the host(me). I'll ave to look up this publicvariable command.

I've been the host and I've been the missing out on the taskhints. It's weird.

I have all tasks complete for all team members in MP, but i find only 1 of them get the taskhint showing up on screen. Is there anything I can do about this, or is it just alpha?

Thankyou 2nd Ranger. I was actually close. At one stage I tried this but with the (Gov distance_x < 3} Working great now ty. -
I've used in condition : unit1 distance object < 3 OR unit2 distance object <3........and up to unit4. object is a governor called Gov This works in single player but trying to use a mygroup command in MP so it works for all units properly, but : mygroup distance gov <3; doesnt work. Im not that great at the mission code. it's probably really simple. Thx in advance. Milo

How do I go about assigning a task again after and addtask has been assigned. I'd like 2 assigned or something that I can get 2 task completed at the same time. eg kill enemy colonel in the villa that needs to be destroyed. 2 task taken out in one go.

Hey Norrin, Does your AI respawn with WP script still work in arma 3? I've tried using it, making 3 respawn points(if thats at all possible) the waypoints work fine but i had to put the init line in all the team inits to get them to go to the waypoints. Then, they don't respawn for me. -
Is it possible to make the mobile respawn a different object or have a 2nd respawn choice. Just changing the mobile to a something other than a truck would work.

I'm about 3/4 through finishing a mission. I did add the BTC revive script in and it was still spawning fine at the start of mission. I have revert from the DEV patch and no other mission have been affected like this. Start the mission and all the team spawns in the bottom lefthand corner of the screen. Please Help. What causes map corner spawning? ---------- Post added at 09:19 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:51 AM ---------- FIXED : Because of reverting from dev build. It seem that building setposition and building IDs hare different. I changed all the ID's on the units that were spawning in building and it worked. Hope this helps others at some stage.

I've made a mission, but I can't see the disable/enable icon in the lobby when I create a server. When I preview in the editor, they are present. I'd just like the option to turn them on and off in my mission if needed. Thx in advance, Milo

A couple of scripting issues..help needed

I've nearly complete my mission, but have hit a couple of problems. I have been using the intel modules to do these tasks. 1. My task completions are only given to the person who gets the kill/destroy. All team members are grouped to to team leader. Does team leader have be a higher rank so that all team members share the kills completion? 2. I have a trigger that activates when whole group or any member, (i've tried both) enters the triggered area and are present. I have grouped it to the team leader, but the task gets completed when we enter the mission, even though we are a couple of kms from the objective. Any help would be awesome :) P's hope this is enough info for now, I was in a rush to post. Cheers in advance. Milo -

I have learnt this is a mp bug, yet to be fixed. For the other, I decided to use a not present trigger and the exfiltrate task only is assigned after all other tasks are completed. -
Having an issue with tasks created through the module system showing up for players.

Yeah, I posted a thread about this yesterday. I found tasks could be seen by other players in mp missions, but the completion depended on who executed the task eg destroy vehicle. So we'd end up having all tasks completed, but across many players. We good to know its a bug atm and I won't continue to go insane. -
[SP/MP] Dynamic Whole Map ArmA3 Missions by SaOk

Getting crashes about 1min after loaded in. I'm running cba, sthud and a couple of other mods. Should the mission be run without any mods? I'm also running dev build. These crashes all happened on multiplayer, singleplayer was fine.
