im buying a new computer soon , but i wanna be able 2 play arma 3 flawless with maxed out settings and loads of ai .. .. should i build a system with dual 16 core cpu's .. or this game wont take advantage of more than 6 or 8? or is the cpu clock frequency more important than the core count

i loved original arma 2 becuse the european style .. but operation arrowhead was yawning me to death from the desert .. its a matter of taste .. private military company had fun campaign too. :)

that would force me to run the game in ugly-mode .. I'd rather not play it at all if ppl can lower settings to gain an unfair advantage. And grass+vegetation better be hardcoded in Arma 3 too .. so ppl cant turn it off.. -

if u shoot the gunner in a static defence, or on a pickup, they stand up straight next to the vehicle before they die .. but the driver falls over the wheel .. lol.. would be fun if he honked the horn when he slammed his head into the steering wheel -
Even if ur hit with an old rusty ductaped smg from a mile away in the helmet or bullet proof west .. ur out of action .. at least for a week. No one can keep on fighting. If u only get a scratch on the arm.. or get dirt in your eyes from bullet impacts in front of u .. It's game over. :) ---------- Post added at 03:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:49 PM ---------- -- It's really smart for being unscripted AI, and it got much better in O.A but still ..there is much more to improve .. to make it a more tougher opponent, and to have more self preservation without compromising its combat ability . It also needs to get better at detecting and avoiding obstacles when driving. :)

when im trying to move the ulb on the map i get a blue line from the apache instead, and nothing happends ? what am i doing wrong?

add sweden too .. and they can drive around in friendly looking cars, and hand out teddybears ..

Make the AI run betwen covers, and not stand up in battle, unless running.. and enable them to use the interior of buildings at their own will .. and shoot thru windows and then hide.. etc.. and move on ..so they wont be sitting ducks.... and make them lean to the side from behind covers briefly and fire.. maybe its impossible.. i dont have a clue about ai-programming .. but it would for sure be worth a drop in framerate. I'm talking about O.A now , becuse it has a lot of useful building interiors ,and windows that are never used

seriously .. why isnt the ai using the buildings? In operation arrowhead the buildings appear to have very usefull interior.. let the AI-enemy use them for cover .. and shoot thru the windows .. maybe its too hard to implement .. idk they should also try more aggressivly to find cover if under attack .. and not let a single sniper wipe out 50 ppl with ease

"Grass now provides concealment also in distance" <- finally :inlove: lets hope most servers start to force the grass on .. i havnt noticed any difference in performance with grass on or off, it just gets a billion times uglier with no grass .. and looks dated like some 1999 3dfx-game without grass .. and makes me depressed to run around in a counterstrike environment .. maybe .. uhm ..the later part belonged to another thread :)
