    okay I knew about the nose however you did help there the shadow down the chest in the picture was part of the mouth that wasn't attached to the head so its fixed theres a problem with one of the arms when I select the area I can see its all connected with red lines as it should but one point isn't... seems kind of strange that there's these kind of errors since it is a bis model I use and havn't changed

    just to be clear the normals I need to reverse is the little blue pins right? I'm still not too familiar with all the words used for all this on that model the hands are a part of the body do I still reverse them and if yes how do I know where to cut the hand from the body? another thing... I really don't get how it works when I just pbo the file but not if I binarize it

    seems that I didn't solve it completely as soon as I binarize a model the shadow bug is back it seems that the normal maps have some sort of influence on it but I'm not sure how got a new screenshot of it you can see its not as bad as before but still its pretty anoying

    I can make new models with no shadow bug now don't know what the difference is but it works now... now I just got to redo everything thanks for all your help though

    nothing seems to change anything... everything looks great in buldozer now but ingame its the same... is it possible that the problem isn't on the model it self? thanks for all you efforts by the way

    First of all I have been delayed alot because of some shadowbug that appears on all my units (look in the o2 modeling thread for details) I don't know how much I'll have to remake or change to get this running as it should @Wolfrug I can only tell you that I'll do my best not to make this more complicated for you guy's... glad you like my work by the way @m4r1ne those look good a little bright maybe but good, don't have the time to look more into zombies at the moment but when time comes I can PM you @[CAS] Daniel its not done yet but I know how to, I need to make some time consuming work on the config but it will be fixed @Delta-Force & Benoist I see both your points, I was thinking the change needs to be the accuracy, I am working om some new, new order units that will have some different clothing wich indicates lesser armor however they are still better "soldiers" so if I can make the resistance act like amateurs and the new order like pros it would be the best solution, the wasteland warriors should be harder to kill, they will be real badasses... there has been some requests about gasmasks... they are comming along pretty well no screens yet though, there will be some homemade looking ones for the resistance and wasteland warriors, then some more normal looking ones and finally some that will be turned into some HL2 looking helmets for some special new order units

    the shadows in buldozer are different still edged and wrong but not as bad as ingame the shadows seems to get worse in certain movements that suggests that you were right... but still it didn't help might be me that miss some part of your explaination

    just tried what you said but no luck still the same problem, I noticed that Johnny's marines and the 1st infantry division have the same bug but its very hard to see by them better screenshot of the problem

    I use the MLOD's I tried making the shadow lod smaller but it didn't seem to work but it sure looks like the shadow don't fit on the model

    I used JB's tutorial to make this model its still a work in progress, there is some minor bugs that needs to be fixed and all the textures is from here and there so I need some permissions the weapon is from VTE, basicly only the model is mine. but before I want to ask arround for permits I need to get it working properly and I need help with that. I can't seem to make the config.cpp work, it will only work with the config that came with the tutorial, and that one will only alow me to make one unit available in the editor. is there like a a config for dumbies out there somewhere? comments on the units are welcome as well...

    the mod is supposed to be at least semi-realistic and there will be no laser guns, this is not a sci-fi mod we will keep to present day weapons I have been talking to Vilas about using his upcoming weapon pack for this mod because it offers a huge variety of weapons and I hope to get some additions of our own like the shotgun if it is possible at some point to add primitive weapons I would like to do so but thats not in any near future right now I'm working on some new zombies and mutants mostly zombies at the moment early stage zombie and some of Warhammers late stage looks

    I'm still working on making the units available on all sides but so far I just get errors but you can change the config under each units there should be line that says "side =" and then the side you can simply change that ArmaVidz made a trailer its on the frontpage

    I could make sure to make the resistance fighters stays as a stand alone addon so they are both in the PA mod and as a single addon... I am trying to make this with larger possebilities of use so Wolfrug your right there will not be any "death to zombies" texts anywhere and no laser guns if you want that your will need to mix it up  with the alien mod... ábout the year... well its up to you I don't plan to make calender objects or anything update on the shotgun http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/1886/shotgun2da9.jpg

    thats very hard to say... the progress is very fast but there is a lot to do... however there will hopefully be an early release of it we could call it a demo but what I really wan't is to release a new version with at least some of the larger bugs fixed

    we'll just take them one at a time here 1, No the mod still won't require QG it would be a lot easier but since the majority of people who has supported this seems not to own it I won't use it 2, yes I like fallout a lot the entire series and its a great inspiration to this mod but it will have other sides to it so I won't disapoint the zombie fans 3, I was thinking that in a post-apocalyptic age people will use medieval methodes and a wooden gallow in the village center or on a hill just outside will be there, hopefully with some animation so you can hang people yourselves

    -depends on the buildings the tall apartment buildings from OWP only has a small room in the front and all other buildings are from BIS so it should be the same with them the huts I'm working on are still WIP so I can't really tell you about those yet -they have armband but it was just something I threw together in a couple of minuttes... need a really cool symbol ideas are welcome -the resistance will have some sort of symbol aswell just not the same way more of a symbol of their resistance really -vehicles are on the way but can't tell what they will be yet though a buggy is a likely candidate for this mod

    thats cool just checking... some new objects and a new unit wearing a rusty german ww1 helmet the wasteland warriors don't like mutants... some good news too... -bloodtextures are working... not in the faces for some reason but they are working -shadow bugs are being fixed one at the time since I can now use shadows thanks to the new patch -vehicles are in the works still at a very early stage but its comming along got some help from USSRsniper
