true enough.. however it would depend heavily on where you are from.. where I'm at I have no clue where people would get gas masks... Besides my point was more that the sugestion was to give them are more "badass" look and they are not supposed to they are supposed to look more like "barely surviving".. a few are going to get gas masks some would be lucky to find one but not many of them.. and with the amount of work I still need to do, I won't get to it for a while rusty m4 with flashlight new version of the coat -

just saw book of eli, personally I think its a pretty bad movie.. however the scenery was good I can surely get something out of it... and a quick question am I just blind or were there no ak74 model with the mlods BIS released for arma1 okay I really need help figuring out why the weapons doesn't show up the right place I tried everything -

this mod is based on what people would really use and wear in a post-apocaplyptic scenario, the whole futuristic and "badass" thing is up to the Conspiracies mod to make, its all very nice and they do look cool and badass, but it's not what I'm doing.. my inspiration commes from movies like, the road, the postman and A boy and his dog.. I am going to make a few gas-masks.. but they will be used for only a few units a wasteland warrior to make him look a bit more scary and perhaps some special units for the new order.. but if you think about it how many people have gas-masks lying arround.. of course if you wan't a bit of both you can always mix the mods its all up to you what you can make of this once its out.. -

there will be similar armed civilians on each side I just want some difference between them.. and yes there will be some without rucksacks, I was thinking that each units has two models one with and one without the rucksack.. -

I started working on these today.. they are the armed civilians I called them lone wolves.. and I made my first working weapon, only a single bug to fix on it, 3rd person view is right but in first person the weapon isn't in its right place don't know why.. -

thanks guy's.. I'll start working on the signature later today and if I can get fraps to work right perhaps also a trailer for the mod.. I'm also working on some weapons now.. however I never worked with weapons before and if someone could show me a config for a static weapon it would be a great help.. if possible the whole thing so I only have to put in my class names.. -

thanks D@VÅ that was a great help and a great time saver it takes forever to go through the original configs to find these lines.. heres a couple of new screenshots two new civilians.. with a new backpack here's a glimpse of how the colours of my stuff works with Jade Groove.. purely by chance but still pretty cool not sure if you can tell by the screenshots but I managed to improve some textures aswell -

well so am I... I'm starting the new civilian units tomorrow so the next couple of screenshots should give a complete show of what can be expected I hope, I'll make a great deal of the civilians so it might take a while.. as I wrote it has to be realitstic and also I wan't to make it look very good... oh.. In case you wan't to ask about realism in a Post apocalypse scenery here's a thought.. it might not be realistic today but it might very well be tomorrow.. -

wish I could give you an eta guy's but I really can't tell at the moment there is still very much to be done I'm working as fast as I can but I won't make the same mistake I did at the first PA mod, working too fast.. -

thanks Icewindo I'll take a look at it.. right now there is only one female head on two units one with a mask on so you only see the eye but more is needed for the civilians.. if needed it should be possible to add completely new voices to them.. hah brilliant IceBreakr.. now I just have to make a hockeymask for one of the units... -

thanks Icewindo.. must be it the config and the model is based on civilian vehicles yes but from A1 but as I can understand it there isn't much difference that would also explain why they don't completely conflict with each others.. I'll just try some completely different class names sometimes that helps... the old units are long gone I'm afraid.. but they were not very good compared to what I did this time anyways.. some of them will be remade long coats pipebombs that hand sewn bag and such.. I had a rusty ww1 helmet for the old wasteland warriors I would have used that but that has to be remade aswell.. another one for the "to do list" No female voice yet don't really know how to do that. that one is on the "figure that out list", as to dancing I'll let someone else take care of animations, it did give me the idea of some dancers and "civilian" bad guy's for a kind of low-life criminal settlement.. And I have a bit of a request, does someone out there have a nuke script on the way that I could borrow to make the undetonated nukes a bit more fun? -

a couple of screenshots with Jade Groove by IceBreakr this isn't part of a new map yet.. it's simply to show you a preview of Jade Groove mixed with the PA mod and so far it looks pretty promising Freedom fighters outpost wasteland warriors in a ruined town (thanks IceBreakr this is just perfect) New order guarding town with undetonated bomb Civil defence patrole Freedom fighters talking to a civilian Oh yeah almost forgot.. I stumbled across some strange problems.. it seems that my units sometimes conflict with other stuff in the game.. a few days ago I played the standard Arma2 campaign and all of a sudden the armored bus from my mod was in the campaign mission.. however it isn't a conflict between my bus and the original one since that one was in ther too.. also one of my objects is a suitcase and as I just tried to put it on the map a suitcase did show up.. without textures.. but not my model I have no idea where its from.. if anyone could enlighten me a bit here it would be great.. -

Sorry to have made you wait guy's I had a bad Parkour accident a while back still hurts everywhere but I'm back again and I have made a few more objects and you'll be happy to know that IceBreakr and I has teamed up about Jade Groove I'll post some previews of what it could look like as soon as I can.. -

last few days progress added some more details on the units the first female model the head is working so now I can start working on a propper body for them they don't fit in the the standard ones the first civilian is done.. this is one doing good, I'll make some that has found good clothing and such and some similar to the wasteland warriors.. nomad style or something like that. and yet another new order barrier with a catwalk for sentries -

thanks Icewindo I'll get on it straight away.. I suppose BIS will release the mlods at some point but untill then I just have to use what I got.. don't know about an ETA yet but a mounth or two I think it has enough struckture for a beta -

I'm hoping on a return of the female with the teddy bear I got some models lined up but I have some trouble with the heads once they are in game the normal male head is also on the model and I can't figure out how to remove it
