thanks Malick now I know why that don't work, I tried to make the zombies only die by headshots, didn't go to well... now I just play with the armor set to 25 instead of 55 they are still hard to kill, but no longer impossible...

In Ofp I used to put custom faces to the AI by putting the jpg. file into the mission folder and adding this setface "face1.jpg", to the units init line, that dons't seem to work with arma, so how do I add a custom face to the AI?

found antohter odd little bug, when they are killed they only lie still as long as you don't go near them, if you get close enough they still bite. I can't seem to find a way to make them carfty but not to crafty right now its only one shot one kill or shoot all you want it won't help.

good work, but they are really still too crafty, they are almost impossible to kill, even satchel charges won't kill them. if anyone agree with me its quite simple to edit the config, just change the armor class to something that fits you.

how about US vs Europe, what would it take?

well the US fleet is growing by Iran, its still only sanctions, but who knows how long they can keep it like that, the way I see it, the only problem US has by going to war with Iran is that they will have a hard time getting support from Europe.

is there two versions out yet, I noticed that the link at files-upload has a different filename than the one I downloaded, I can't get the file it keeps giving me an error message.

I noticed that a lot of the zombies are not attacking when stacked to tight, it helps to spread them over a larger area, but yeah its a little anoying, but zombies are supposed to be stupid right. looking forward to your update this is great stuff, I also have a little suggestion, I don't know if this is possible or not, but it seems a little odd that the soldiers are laying down when attacking zombies, if there is any way to change it tot make them stand, it would be a nice add to the zombie mod.

come to think of it, I just got the custom faces in ofp to work with one addon, one of the early ones, i think it was a recolour of the resistance to woodland to make them look like rangers, they are quite old, but for now just adding some names to the units will do, I never got how to do that before. -

the face didn't work but the name "bob doe" did, and the silly voice, you gave ne quite a scare there, thought the sound was screwed up. I also tried to add another person in the description, but I couldn't make it work, I just got an error when loading the mission. class CfgIdentities { class bob { name="Bob Doe"; face="Custom"; glasses="None"; speaker="amy"; pitch=1.8; }; }; how do i continue this? -
you might also consider making them slightly less crafty, its almost impossible to kill one zombie alone, a crowd is totaly impossible, the perfect zombie like kill would be that only a shot to the head is deadly.

You defenitly need to make them able to attack civies. I'm also missing some moaning, and try and make them do so by them selves, in the first zombie addons for ofp you needed to make every single zombie moan by typing something in the init line, thats a little anoying of you got a lot of zombies.

For the first zombie attempt for arma its not bad, they are very playable, with a little imaginazion. now I remembered someone in this forum mention that he got the zombie scripts from ofp to work, I can't find it again but I just wanted to know that someone might know a little about zombies out there.

what about only smaller bits of the earth, with accurate places, like where I come form, a little island in Denmark, its not much bigger than Sahrani, it would be quite fun to play on a real life island.

When I'm finished midnight, I plan to read an old book about my great grandfather, he was forced to serve the germans in WW1. by the way, I hope my own novel end up in this thread some day, if you havn't visited my thread I would like you to do so and post some comments, I'm a little stuck with the novel right now

Well right now I'm reading Dean Koontz's midnight, I'd like to absorbe some of his wirting style to my own. I also read tons of history books, about almost everything, I just got a shiopment of about 85 history books from arround the napoleonic war up to WW2.

well as far as writing it, it will proberly take me about a year to finish it all up, right now its up to 45 finished pages. but the trich is to get it published, first of all I have to make some sort of deal with BIS about it, I used to talk to placebo about it but now I have to start all over with them, but I don't think that will be much of a problem, the problem is that danish publishers can be quite sceptical it could take me a while to convince them that it would be a good idea to publish the novel.

heh... nice flag, always nice to see fellow contrymen, and of course its nice to see Danes take an interest in the novel, since you proberly will be the first to read it.

thanks i think I'm in the clear then, the priest is only executed because he is helping the resistance, there is no mention of any religion at all, I might mention religion later but that will be in the sense that the soldiers are praying. A little update: the novel just reached 34783 words

I am a total war veteran and I loved this one, they didn't come up with much new stuff, but the units and battles are just grea. one things confuses me though, the modding teams, they seem to make the same mod over and over again, I guess like with arma thay are waiting for tools, anyway if you are used to looking for mods to ofp and arma, its a little confusing with TW.

Nice... I asked a question in the ofp.info forum but never got an answer so I will try asking here, as I have said I added some scenes to the novel that are not in the game, in one of those a priest gets killed, could that give me any trouble, I don't need your personal opinions but if it could give me some real trouble, the novel should be released in many country's and most of them are much more religious than Denmark, where I am from.
