Oh i didn't, sorry, i remember opening the PBO to edit the mod itself and remembered it as part of the method i used. My bad. Indeed i only viewed the file in the mission save via notepad also. -

i found them out the hardway. Make a mission in the editor, place all the units you want to know on.. Utes for example. then save it as TEST or something. go to the mission pbo and unpack it. read the mission list, the troops will be written there. I'm sure there is a better way but i am no modder and thats the quickest way i thought of to get the names :S PS. many of the units are called "name"_3 and _6 and so on. dosn't state medic, assault. so one unit at a time is required if after a spacific one. -
In your opinion what is the best SP mission that takes advantage of the whole map?

For me, MrN's Guerilla war - Sp dynamic war, for Isla duala and Panthera. I just keep going back to it, love it. and since Pathera was patched recently it isn't so hard on the pc, and runs quite nice now. Which is good, coz it is a very lovely map. The both maps have Adjustable difficulty, (higher-lesser pc hit). Both feel quite different, with drop rope for isla duala, and little bird landing for the less professional guerilla's of Panthera It uses the whole island on both maps. And makes you feel all warm inside when you heli in to your missions :p As for a SP war over the wholemap. you can't go past {ASA}ODEN's Frontline-Frontsector combo, for SP. It is serious fun, and works over several cool maps. It is like warfare...but feels like a SP mission. Great stuff. -
YEAH ODEN, you rule brother. Downloading and running off to play as i just got home from work hehehe. That was timed to perfection.

So can i assume you plan to have frontline on other maps? or is the Utes just your own personal use. Would be great to have lighter editions for utes, isla duala and so on. That way weaker PC's can have fun too :D BTW: using spec ops is serious RP fun.

just cheking in to my Fav mod. Having had a rather busy few weeks i can now enjoy this mod again. Thought i'd prod for any new info? migration to a new island... new features?. @Maddmatt. Yeah that seems to happen randomly for me. Sometimes i have a good 15-20 minutes before i get hit by art. Other times within seconds of engaging the enemy. Bang, accurate to the mm. I'm not sure the mod needs that art, or perhaps if the radio tower nearest the drop point was taken out prior then art couldn't be called in... just a thought.

Just popping in to give my support of this brilliant project. Loving the work so far. On a side note, i lived for many years around the corner from Old Geelong road, laverton, which is where mad max chased the night rider. Was always fun to speed down that road back in the day. (Residential now so no go zone hehe) it is also around the corner from the police station (big brick wall one from the movie, which is still there actually. i should take a picture on my way into melbourne on sunday while going over the westgate bridge. For any mad max freaks interested. Keep up the good work, those units look great.

Hey thanks for that MrN. Been having a heap of fun with this, but I am finding the jet bombers a little annoying. We have no way of taking them out and they just keep coming, with deadly accurate fire, so with each pass i lose a few men, if not my own life. Might be a little on the over kill with those, or at least they come far too quickly. within 2 minutes of our ambush, a bomber is already unloading on us. And nope, haven't missed the choppers all that much hehe. Other then this the quirks in the script or what ever it is are GREAT. I had an infantry colomn to take out, but for some reason they were twice the number they usually are lol. bad intel. i love that slight randomness about most of the missions. you never know if there will be soldiers, Dogs, or an APC waiting for you at drop off. Or if the next enemy village/city will send it's troops making a bad situation worse. And the new rope script is a charm, i love that if i am in a bad way i can call in the chopper and get out of there. is there a way to cancel a mission, or call it off? To conclude, Every mission i have played has worked for me thus far, i admit that i have yet to survive more then 3 missions in a row, before restarting, but i think i have experienced each type of mission. And as far as i can see, it is very stable with other mods also. I have a lot active and no crashes yet. Stunning work MrN....i just wonder where yeah are going from here?

wow, great work mate! This will feature in a slew of missions, and might even have a place in warfare mode for transport and logistics. AWESOME -
I was hangin for this update awesome! Seeing as i have the night off, guess what i'll be doing heh No, defend missions has worked every time for me. occasionally the trucks on convoy mission use inland rather then road, but i just RP and think of it as anti-ambush tactics and rpg the suckers, but ill see with the latest build. On a side note, i usually change the units, for myself and team. Using the Merc models from Mercs and Blackops mod. or PMC mod units. Role-play an elite force of guns for hire. Of course when you ask for a new team the defualt guys return, haven't figured out how to change that heh. As well as having SLX mod active. makes for great atmosphere.

Sweet! DL now, if i don't get my hit im grumpy all day hehe MrN, this might be a handy little thing for this mod. NORRN Fast-Rope Goto Script http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9140 Since this mod uses a chopper a lot, and seems to be as point and click user friendly as your current system is, might look better then the current fade out landing. would allow for forest drop off also. Not that im complaining mind you, :pc: ...just throwing it out there :D

hmm, my defend base missions are the opposite to OP. when i kill the mass invaders, it says successfull, then i get another stream of invaders, so i fought them till only myself, and another 2 men were left. The enemy then flew a bombing run :eek: didn't see that comming as i flew threw the air... my fuel and radio tower missions work also, with various armour support which gets me every time before i can Evac. it is definatly harder then Panthara
