  1. OK, well basically, I reinstalled ARMA 2 because the play option didn't come up in the DVD autorun window and also for some reason it stopped asking for me to insert the DVD (which I'm sure it used to do) when trying to start the game without the DVD. I know they aren't big things but I just wanted to fix them just becaue they werent doing what they were supposed to even though it didnt affect the game in any perceivable way.

Anyway, now that I have reinstalled it there is bad/frequent stuttering happening when before there was little to none. I've tried putting the graphics to their lowest settings and still it persists. I've recently updated my graphics card drivers but that didnt help at all.

    PC specs are as follows...

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

    Intel i7 920 2.6GHz

    6GB DDR3 RAM

    ATi Radeon HD 4850

I have the retail version of ARMA 2 with the 1.05 patch installed.

  2. Hi,

I've got this graphical problem in the campaign when i get injured, like actually shot down and rolling around on the ground. The graphics go all spastic...kind of like a kaleidoscope sort of effect. Its never happened before until yesterday and its continued to happen since then.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

    Thanks

  3. Hi,

I just would like to know what would the best performance settings be for ARMA 2 for my PC. At the moment it's running ok but has considerable lag in some places. I'm not very "tech savvy" as they say so you're advioe is greatly appreciated.

My video settings in ARMA 2 are as follows:

    Interface Resolution: 1920x1080

    3D Resolution: 1920x1080

    Visibility: 2400

    Texture Detail: Normal

    Video Memory: High

    Anisotropic Filtering: Disabled

    Terrain Detail: Normal

    Object Detail: Normal

    Shadow Detail: High

    Postprocess Effects: Low

    Interface Size: Very Small

    Aspect Ratio: 16:9

    Antialiasing: Low

My PC Specs are as follows:

    2.6 GHz i7 processor

    6GB RAM

Ati Radeon 4800 series (don't know which one in the series though)

I hope that's all you need to know.

    Thanks

    Joe
