    and all (ALL!) reported problems I read in this forum are gone (patch 1.05)::yay:

    and I had them all, I think:

    white/black/coloured flickering, strange artifacts, crash to desktop when receiving, ctd without receiving-screen, bsod, stuttering until not playable, bad performance.

    All is gone (played around 1 hour) with WinXP.

    No performance problems, not stutter until now with maximum settings at 2000m vis.

    I have an amd quad 3400 and a geforce GTX260.

    This is hopefully my last visit in the troubleshooting forum :D

    I solved this problem for me:

    I have a GTX260 with 865 MB RAM. When I put the Video-Memory to "High" (before I used very high or default) I never ever (starting from the same save game) got the grafical anomalies again.

    Still it has stutters and sometimes ctds so I won't play it anymore till the next patch comes out - but the strange triangles and squares are definitely gone.
