I've had this problem for the last 8 Months or so and still can't get to the bottom of it. I assume that you are playing on a server with revive script, i.e 'Domination revive' as this seems to be causing the problem somehow. I just play warefare now, sometimes I get this happening with warfare too. Same here only when it does happen then about 5 minutes later my game does a CTD... Very frustrating as I've never had any problems before really. Game is totally broken for me at the moment after this patch.

Hi Norrin, many thanks to you for taking the time to try and address my 'Ghost soldier' issue. I have resolved this now by taking the advice from a fellow gamer and installing just OA as a standalone game rather than combining with Arma2 and so far, so good. Cheers.

Ok guys just to give you a heads up the workaround I mentioned in my previous post has cured the 'ghost' problem for me.. Yehaaaa! Sorry it hasn't.... my mistake.

Madmusti, you are not alone my friend, I suffer the same problem.. see link http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=99486 I have CO... that is Arma2 and OA together, one possible solution that I have been told and which I'm going to try is to do a complete and thorough uninstall and then just install OA, not bothering with Arma2. I really hope this works as it's driving me crazy, obviously this is not an option if you have only got OA.. Hoipe this will cure my problem and help with yours, best of luck.

You're spot on there Dice... wh1sp3r & Dair,you really ought to consider joining a clan who run their own server and help by chipping in with the annual cost. you will get more enjoyment out of the game online, trust me... For your information it costs the group I'm in £265.08GBP Annually fort a 32 slot server. We are a UK based Clan and currently accepting members, go along to the site http://vbau.co.uk/ Our server runs with no mods so no problems using stock game on it, have a look see and get your application in if you think it's for you.. Had a search but can't seem to find the answer to a problem I've been having the last few weeks or so. I play warefare on one or two servers and I find that most of the time now that after playing a while I hear no more reports of towns being captured, or any reports from command. I can be in a camp what seems like forever and not capture it (like my presence is not detected there), I become invincible to the enemy.. it's like they just don't see me and my weapons have no effect on them at all. Yet I still see all the other players moving around on the map so I am still connected. Does anyone else have these problems? It's a complete multiplayer gamebreaker for me. I have done a complete and thorough uninstall and reinstallation but the problem remains. Seems to be fine untill I get my first death and respawn.

Sorry, guys just noticed your replys.. Thanks for the heads up I will try and do this but I'm not very PC savvy. How do I check for desynch Pulverizer? I've hear that a poor connection speed or bandwidth problem may not help the situation and mine aren't too good. Regards.

Gengiskhan.. Sorry mate but I think you're getting the wrong end of the stick... I am talking about the 'ghost' soldier on respawn after first death problem when I play on multiplayer that is mentioned back in pages 35-38 of this thread. I'm not talking about mission making, I was just wanting to know if there is any simple fix for this that a simple man like myself can implement because it's driving me nuts... Cheers.

Hey Gengiskhan, I've gone through the readme pdf but Ican't make head nor tails of it, afraid I need my hand holding on things like this... I've only just got my head around installing addons and this looks a little too complicated for my simple mind :confused: which is why I saked for a little guidance with it... Cheers buddy.

Hi Gents.. Posted a question in the forums about the 'invisible' soldier syndrome which I have suffered from for many Months now but have had no response. I have just joined an online 'clan' and they pointed me to this thread which I had no idea existed untill now. I have combined Op's but I'm suffering from this invisible thing which occurs after my first death, now the way I have been getting round it (which is a pain in the arse) is to quit the server and rejoin...die, quit server and rejoin, etc, etc. Now this has, to be honest had me on the verge of ripping my hair out, I've seen the fix you have so kindly worked on but being somewhat of a PC pillock I have no idea what to do with this now I have downloaded it so I'm looking for a little to guidance on what to do with it, oh and will this work with OA? Many thanks in advance..

Hmm.... I had the same problem, used one of the uninstallers in the beta patches then got the message about missing AH-64 and not being able to play or edit the mission. I did a complete re-install and since the have manually removed the old beta folder but I am still getting this message when playing warfare and the AF is upgraded to include the AH-64, doesn't seem to have any ill affects though.

This is the first Beta I've used that has made my vanilla game freeze. The colours went all weird and the game froze, I didn't have a CTD though.

I can second this, I now here the horn's of vehicles too.

Walker, many thanks for trying to explain what I need to do, is there an easy way of telling if a server has a repository of mods or is it just click and cross fingers? I have tried a few but no luck yet.. I have Silent Hunter games which use JSGME for downloading and installing mods which is a blast to use for anyone incompetent like myself, I can see the potential in this wonderful piece of software by Yoma though, anyways I'll keep trying as I would love to try out the ACE mod. Hi there, First of all let me thank you very much for this application which to me, not being very computer savvy, is a Godsend. I am however even having problems with this simplified way of getting the right add-ons which the servers require. The problem that I'm having is that I cannot get the window to show which allows you to download the correct add-ons. I've read the help section but still having no luck. Thanks in advance for any pointers.
