FAQ.
I. What weapons will be used?
The main weapons being used is the M4 Carbine, the MP5 HK Sub-machine gun , and HK416varients.
II. Where will the operations be?
The Operations will usually be in an area assigned for a certain amount of time which could be from one day to one month in Chernarus or Afghanistan or Iraq.
III. What vehicles will be used?
Considering that the Special Recon Unit (SRU) is for quick deplorable recon not many weapons systems will be used. Heavy armor may be used on some occasions but it will not always be there. There will be a mixture of more Air and vehicle light transport units.
IV. What is the Standard Uniform
The standard uniform during formal operations (Drill, training exercises, etc.) is the ACU or army combat Uniform. in the Field however the gear is up to the individual and may be changed to their liking. (Equipment headgear etc etc).
V. What ranks are you using?
We will be using normal Army enlisted and Officer ranks.
VI. What is the time commitment? Time Zone?
The unit is based in Pacific GMT- 8 time. The time commitment is at least log on and report in once a week and be willing to Adjust to central US time (Which is now Zulu time).
VII. Age Requirement?
There is no minimum age requirement (Though it would help if it were 15+). The entry is based on Maturity.
VIII. What training will I need?
You will go through a brief Basic Combat training then attend Ranger school and the Alamo Scout's Training Center.
IX. What role (or MOS) Can I take?
There is currently 1 slot open for every role listed below. As for MOS 11b (Infantry) 68W (Combat Medic) and 19 d ( Cavalry Scout) are available.
