Hi all, we have this dedi specs: CPU Core2Duo 3.00 GHz 4 GB RAM 100MB Internet connection all was ok, untill this weekend, when 40 players login on server and everyone were freeze and cant move. the server didnt went down, it was like is stucked. when 20 log out it was ok. My question is: Do you think the server cant run 40 players or is more likely that we have wrong set the server.cfg This is our server.cfg

Hi I think u have problem in your /home/arma2user/arma2/arma2server try this: I had same problem and it took me quite long time until I solve it.

Thanks Killswitch. I have deleted the "-profile=$PROFILE" in my arma2server file and now it seems to be working correctly.

I dont know where is the problem. Look at my settings arma2server host.arma2profile (as specified in arma2server)

Yes I have this one, but still it doesnt work. Ist there some other way? Maybe in the ACE folders?

Hi all any1 of you guys know how to change difficulty on server? For example how I do that 3rd view will not be available on veteran difficulty. Iam running Linux server ver. 1.05 with last ACE mod. Thanks for any advice in advance

UR right mate, but I give u one simple advice. If u wana team play dont play Domi on public servers, there are lots of clans out there and they are playing nice coop and team work and they also play with public as far as u follow the rules :) If u want check here on pages there is a section where u can search for clans and u find all info there.

On my linux server what should the folders @ace, @acex and @cba contain? Isn't problem that I have in there subfolders> keys, mpmissions userconfig, addons atc... Doesnt need to be there just pbo's files? And yes I run ./install and now iam able to start my server by command ./arma2server but it doesnt have the name what I have in my server.cfg

heh, what is battleye? I saw something that name on my server, I thing that when I start my server, its running just "normal" version with no mods(no addons) cos when I connect to my server in arma and then choose mission for example CO@12_ACE_Op_Cerberus_1_01.Chernarus.pbo nothing happend. Just this error: Missing addons detected: ace_c_weapon ace_sys_knicklicht ace_sys_huntir ace_sys_ruck acex_c_veh_atv I was following your post, but still not working. Iam going to be crazy from that :D Btw still I cant start it by command u said> yomp@r29897:~/arma2$ ./arma2sever start bash: ./arma2sever: No such file or directory or yomp@r29897:~/arma2$ .arma2server start bash: .arma2server: command not found looks like I mixed all together now :D

So finaly somehow I able to login on server with ACE addons, but now the missions make in ACE mod I cant play.

I did it all but still not working. Seems that I ll not run ACE on my server :(

Iam using tihs command ./server -config=./server.cfg otherwise the server is not listed in game.

One more thing, what parameter are you using when you starting server?
