    Slow Texture Renders

Yeah sounds like the same problem I'm having. That Chernogorsk mission has the lowest FPS for me.

Thanks to both of you! Now I can give my PC a much-needed upgrade. :bounce3: ---------- Post added at 02:06 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:31 AM ---------- Still, the problem isn't solved...

    Slow Texture Renders

Hey yall I got ArmA II yesterday and played about five missions into the campaign. Only minor FPS lag occured. This afternoon, I got on the campaign and the game was lagging like crazy. Textures (from soldiers to walls) took several (5-10) seconds to render (the textures were a very low quality before fully rendered). Many objects would only fully render if I got very close to them. So I lowered the settings on everything, and still had the same problems. I'm sure y'all are sick of all these FPS lag threads, but I couldn't find anything that matched my issue. Here are my specs: Windows Vista 32 bit Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00 GHz 9800 GTX+ 2 GB RAM 360 GB HD Thanks, Major_Breland ***EDIT*** Also, if I were to upgrade one part of my system, what should it be? Not sure what my motherboard is, all I know is that it is an x-86 based system.
