I have expanded my models to around about 50 combinations...so it is taking some time. I intend to release once these are done as a final stand alone (i.e. done by myself) addon before moving on to working with rhodesy etc on a full dutch mod. At the moment i am currently finishing off the models and textures and re organising my whole config. Once this is done i will have my quality control team look over it and release....hopefully not long. In the mean time i am posting updates on www.tangodown.nl relatively often.

I'm more confused by this than anything... Also Ravoc this was a simple question not a means for you to open a political debate about the Taliban...maybe you should go post in the politics thread in OT?:rolleyes: Anyway as i previously stated there are already taliban forces made as an addon for arma2 and the units in OA look very much like taliban type fighters to me.

I also have a group of about 4 other guys who i play with on MP vs the AI which can also be great fun. Either way welcome back and good luck. -

Not that im complaining about the quality of your work but the 7 million arguement doesn't ring true...there are only 6 million Dutch people and 5.5 Million Finnish and they seem to produce quite a lot of mods and have v large communities. -

there are no arma2 mlods released so you either have to take things from arma1 or create new models entirely...it would be simpler for you to take binks model and reduce the chest size down, renormal and retexture it than it would be to create a whole new model. -

i wouldn't imagine so a) they don't like it up 'em and b) well just repeat a 15,000 times also i'd rather charge someone with a bayonet than fight them with a throwing knife any day.

Ok guys trying to bring some calm in here :P knives..meh not for it throwing knives definately not. I have some experience with these weapons, i'm pretty accurate with them up to about 25ft..maybe 35 max! However as someone else posted unless you hit someone in a very specific place at exactly the right angle all you will do is a) piss the person off or b) causing them to scream in pain before dropping to the ground. How either of these would benefit a stealth mission is beyond me. The only "accounts" i can think of in which throwing knives were actually used in combat aren't even real. I've seen training vids of guys doing it and i've seen brit commandos in ww2 movies throw their knives (one of which i own and is not all that handy to throw) but as far as common combat usage its definately out.

in the future we may do for now it appears i have to redo the pockets as they have again changed since the refs i was given...hopefully now I have 100% accurate refs...*sigh* have to change all my body textures and normals again :(:(:(

ONCE SOME MORE ISSUES ARE DECIDED THE DUTCH ARMY MOD WILL BE RENAMED AND A NEW THREAD WILL BE CREATED IN THE WIP SECTION AS THE MOD WILL BE MORE ALL ENCOMPASSING THAN JUST THE DUTCH ARMY. Gentlemen I have exciting news...the Dutch Mod (name to be decided) is growing. I would like to welcome Rhodesy77 to the team. Rhodesy has joined to make some custom KCT models for the mod which i am pleased to be able to show an early WIP of. I hope you all join me in welcoming him to the team. Just to clarify this started off as a project i was doing alone but along with Rhodesy we now have a small team of either modders or advisors (sometimes both). So i have included a team list below along with a little description of what they have contributed to the mod: Aeneas2020: Models and Textures Rhodesy: Working on the KCT Raven DK: Helmet Webbing and now DDAM Weapons so we can have the Diemacos Binkowski: My source for all my O2 questions and also the provider of the awesome base models that i based my work off of. SWT_Janowich & Takko: Who are working on vehicles for the mod. Darkhorse: Donated vehicle models Lastly Dezzerx has offered to help out with configs, names and faces when the time to release gets near. Anyway enough soppy stuff. Also new today is a very early WIP of the jungle units.
