Well working on some other things now...but not saying i couldn't throw in a few variants...anything u need stagler?

Ok so i tried searching a number of different ways and found nothing on this (so maybe it's not possible) but if i wanted to force a model say for sake of arguement my force recon reskins to use a specific set of sun glasses how would i do it. I can already force the head and a set of multiple glasses like so identityTypes[] = {"Head_USMC", "FR_Glasses"}; but if i wanted to say just use the joeyx (or whatever they are called glasses) how would i go about doing that?

Why not buy it...its like $9 if im not mistaken and also it would kinda validate the years of work the team put in on it <-shameless plug lol

sorry for the lack of updates from my end, things getting bit hectic in rl with new job offers coming in from all over the place. I made the contrast on the temp camo better and also the work on the des camo is complete i just need to config them.

Completed it as a human noble last night...was fantastic and apparently i only completed a little over 30-40% of it, which is odd seeing as i completed every quest i was given or came across must be a lot of specific race/ class quests :). Great game

when i download the installer and try and install it just freezes my comp...i'm sure its not a system spec thing as I built the system myself and it's only about 6 months old...any ideas?

I created DH along with a friend about 3 years ago now and was project lead until last year when I left. Glad to see some people are still playing but I would also like to add the guys still on the team are doing an amazing job keeping the project alive :). I wish them all the luck in the world in the future.

Ok so im trying to edit my current projects so they don't all have that green cam pain on their faces and arms. I've got them in game working and configged fine but i can't find the .pbo with the arma2 faces in it! If i could i could just hex edit the damn things out and replace them with something else! Any help? p.s. searched the forum all i found was how to do custom faces in player profile which isn't what i#m after.

Actually they are called Generic Army Special forces...and Bink said they are supposed to look a bit like the guys from MW2 he never said anywhere they are exact copies and to be honest they are exactly what he said Generic Special Forces. If you guys want to complain about getting a high quality addon for free and say that it doesn't look like the mw2 guys well then either stick to mw2 or do the reskins and configging urselves. Not saying that with even a hint of being an A hole just saying if thats what u guys really want them make em :)...its not like bink is selling these so you can't really do him for false advertising.

Got it the other day i must say, being a pilot in rl, it is really quite good. I find a lot of the fights turn into aerial turning battles however. I was wondering if anyone else from the community plays and if so maybe we could form a squadron?

when you say camo...do you mean camo or do you just want it "tanned" if thats the case if you send me the textures i can do it in about 30 mins.

I think we don't sell as well tbh...plus its a lot of extra work and then other fans would want their nation's including, once you open the flood gates there is no going back.

They hold all the stock guns in arma just fine its only the ukf weapons...and since the most UK special forces opt for an M16 or M4 variant weapon that shouldn't really be an issue. p.s. there is a pic of the temperate guy holding a rifle with an m203 launcher where his hand is clipping through the launcher. That is because i posed him using the ICP anims and he will not appear like that in game.

No idea...the ukf weapons work fine with the guys with no masks (also included). As for the guys with masks i couldn't tell you. I'll take a look tonight but these are just reskins there is no new model or animation so not sure why it wouldn't work. p.s. just realised i probs should not have started a new thread for this. If a mod comes along please feel free to merge with my old thread.

Mods..sorry if this is against forum rules but i've got 5 or 6 projects going on atm and i thought rather than keep creating new threads for them all i'd just post up one and keep it update with my latest workings. UK SPECIAL FOCES V1.1 The 1st update for my UK Special Forces pack. I wanted to get this out while i work on some other things because it will probably be a while before the next, and very major, overhaul for this project happens. Anyway change log time i guess. 1) Unit camo (especially desert units) tweaked to blend better with arma2 environment. 2) Added new units with masks. These guys started out as a bit of fun on something else i was working on and were intended to represent guys pulling scarves up around their faces in sandstorms but i got a bunch of requests from people asking for them in all kinds of camo so here are the brits. Please note the skull mask is just for fun and NO ghost from Mw2 was not my inspiration. If any of you remember there were some shots of Brits and Amis wearing skull face masks during the invasion of Iraq, i believe they were told to remove them (can't remember) anyway found an old pic of that and so we have the skull mask. Also please note original units are still included, as these have also been updated. 3) All units now appear in the group menu in the mission editor. That should make placing them a little easier one everyone. Alright guys releasing V1.1 of my UK Special forces with these masked guys in the right now so i'll get on the requests this coming week along with a couple of other things...alright have 5 other camo variants done for various models. Looks like a long week or so of configging and testing ahead :(

Other than the olive drab...could you guys maybe find me some refs and i'll see what i can do. I'm mainly going to stay away from US stuff unless any off the wall things come my way because i have been talking/working with Binkowski and he is pretty much covering the US stuff.

Fixed...quick question, and i really don't want to open myself up to too much work here but other than the brit variants are there any others you would like to see?

well here is my thinking: Number 1: these guys are just reskins so no new model, therefore the body is not strictly speaking a realistic British soldier body. Number 2: I really don't want to do a Brit helmet (at least a Mk6) because Stalker is doing such a fantastic job with his guys I would hate to step on his toes. Having said that I may consider doing the new Mk7 helmet for these guys and to hell with the body being wrong. We'll see but i'd need some help with O2 because I have zero experience with it (Maya yes, max some but O2 none at all).
