The ammo pouches on the model are from the chest rig which is what the dutch are using. The reason the arm clips is the ammo pouches are much larger than the ones in stock arma2 and are placed differently. So...either i remove them or you have clipping. We can't edit the anims so we have no choice to but accept the clipping . Sorry.

I tried this once before...damn i wish i still had the files. It still left the shadow plus u cud still kinda see the backpack i dunno it was wierd like it was a ghost backpack. hard to describe. Eitherway give it a try mate. -

Even if u learn o2 mate u wud still need the mlods for the soldier and backpack which ha e not been released. -

It might also cause some very wierd ghosting effects when viewing the model from the back. would be interesting to see though...also would the alpha only effect the diffuse or would it also effect the .as, smdi, and nohq? coz that might cause some issues in itself. -

there should be a server key included in the 5.1 release...if i missed that i must be having a major brain malfunction lol. Sorry had a lot on this week. Either way i will make sure everything is fixed and in the patch before pushing 5.2 out.

To answer your questions...ive had a couple of small shadow issues on the mich guys but nothing to that extent...thats very odd. I think it may be an issue with shadow lods ill check it out. to answer your other questions: 1) im fully aware of that but in order to keep the configs for this addon easier it was simpler to do them that way. 2) Again i am fully aware of this but there is no model for it currently in arma2 3) Again we have no custom weapon models these are donated models so this is not something we can fix, i suggest you take it up with Robert Hammer. 4) The strobes is something i have fixed tonite, it was an oversight/joke between me and friend. i think after about 5 months working on these guys etc i'm pretty well versed in everything dutch military wise. if you read the readme you'll see where it says these guys still aren't 100%. PLEASE NOTE I ALREADY HAVE A WORKING 5.2 RELEASE WHICH WILL BE THE FINAL V5 RELEASE FOR THESE GUYS READY TO GO. HOWEVER IN ORDER TO SAVE CONFUSION ETC I WILL NOT BE RELEASING JUST YET. IN THE MEAN TIME I WILL BE GETTING THE REPLACEMENT PACK FROM EKI AND ALSO MAKING SURE THESE GUYS CAN BE ADDED TO THE SIX UPDATER. MOST IF NOT ALL THE BUGS ADDRESSED HERE HAVE BEEN FIXED FOR 5.2!!

Thanks for the reply...the KCT guys are just kinda temporary guys. Rhodesy is making some awesome KCT troops that i am sure will come in awesome varieties when they are finished. On the ACE backpack thing, other than ensuring these worked with ACE i made no effort to make fully ace compatible. I'll look into the backpacks when i get around to doing so.

Ok man lemme help you out here and @fox...people over normal map shit, if ur trying to make micro scratches on a normal map ull end up with a mess. 1) The brown spots look like you may have missed a little tiny area around the top of the helmet on when you retextured it. I have retextured the CDF helmet several times and have never had this problem so it is not a uvmap issue (provided you havent some how actually edited the model). If you like send me a jpeg of your helmet texture and ill take a look at it. 2) On this if you want mate just send me the files as you have them now ill take a look. The wrinkle could be something you missed or it could be on the smdi. either way i'll look into it for you. 3) You can do some scratches on the nohq...your best bet however to make something look like a real world object is to learn to use the dodge and burn tools in photoshop. The dodge tool at a 70% opacity and 1 pixel width just scribbled across a green texture will give a nice scratched look. However you should also look at adding some ambient lighting and shading with the dodge and burn tool also. In fact if you want if you send me the texture ill make you an example and send it back. -
Reinstalling with steam is very easy... but let me understand this correctly...you reinstalled windows and expected all your games to work again without reinstalling them also? I'm not sure thats gunna work mate. In any case reinstalling from steam is easy ive done it several times.

Again my units don't do this either... also im using the aimpoint with the dutch marine rifleman and in fact all classes as i type this and i have no black optics what so ever...i wonder if the dload is somehow corrupted or something.

I have to agree with enad here i cant replicate this bug either, so far i've had 4 people who have it and about 20 people who don't...this is so confusing.

already been reported along with 1 other small bug...will fix and release a hotfix with a server key and a replacement pack once eki is ready.

I'm pretty sure they were purchased directly from the aussies (all of the original order came from Aussie stock and went directly to the operational theatre with 2 being sent to the netherlands for training purposes)...in fact i know they were. Having said that i also thought i saw somewhere that the dutch army did some field mods on them. -
