fix joystick controll - adequate heli behaviour to a stick movements, remove the dead zone (make better smoothness), sometimes buttons dont react

Do you use stick as well? So you probably dont have that problem. But the only lines with analog in parenthesis in controlls menu belongs to "throttle" and "brake", nothing associated with steering. Set it up in windows or in game as analog? the game does not offer much options for analog controllers.

Hi. You who are using joystick for flying a heli, how does the helicopter react on your moves with a stick? When I want to get my heli movin I just need to push/pull the stick once and the chopper will remain leaned however the stick is again centered (theres no need to keep the stick pushed/pulled). Looks to me weird, I thought that the heli should level with centering the stick, not ignoring the back move of the stick when flying forward. Maybe theres something wrong in setup, i dont know, its my first joystick. And can you explain me what does the "analogue" mean in controllers setup? Thanks very much for any feedback. At least I d like to know if theres anybody having same problem.

You have to install the latest 1.04 beta patch (1.04.59323), then run the game from newly created .exe file located in game folder (not from the start menu!) Remember to restart whole mission. Loading previously saved mission wont fix the problem. This worked for me. As I know the cause is still unclear, maybe it has something to do with Win Vista/7

Hi. Do you still have CTD problem while saving on 1.04 patched version? Or does anyone have some info that theres gonna be a new patch or BIS is dealing with this serious problem? I ve been browsing this forums nearly two days, tried many suggestions but nothing works. (including: run as admin, delete save files from documents) Didnt tried -maxmem paramter, duno if it might help My spec: C2D E8400 4GB RAM NX8800GTS 512MB OS: Vista 32-bit Thx for everything

Got a same problem while saving, game crashes to desktop even when the patch 1.04 is installed. But without "cannot commit" report...

Thanks, I ve tried it. Nevermind, it is not that big problem. Yesterday a new much more annoying bug appeared, the game often crashes to desktop when saving without any problem report (mission Manhattan, it didnt happen in any mission before). Maybe Vista is a problem somehow, duno. Hope that there will be another patch soon. Looks to me that this game creates bugs itself:-)

Hi. Recently I ve experienced a problem with zooming in all vehicles when on any post. Two days ago, everything was fine, I could zoom in with defined key or mouse wheel and camera remained zoomed in, now it always zooms out automatically (I have no idea what and why it happened:confused:). Theres no way I can keep it zoomed in. Its a bit unhandy when in battle. Also key assigned for max zoom in/out stopped working, reassigning also doesnt work. When on foot, everything runs fine. I have even noticed when occupying gunner post in M1A1, zoom works well, but this is the only case. Did anybody of you encountered the same problem? Can you zoom in and out as you want in vehicles? Any fix for this? (i have all the patches installed) Ive searched the web including this forums but couldnt find any related info. Thanks for anything.
