im windows. i am working on creating small coop maps (4-8) players. some of the missions include: seize the village, infiltration and demolition of enemy key targets, ambushing convoys, assassinations, and more. drop me a PM if you wanna play coop on a specified date. basically i want to host games where the "missions" have clearly defined objectives that do not require 10 hours. also i want my missions to be optimized for modest pcs so expect smaller, yet highly focused and intense engagements. im focusing more on small infantry units with some vehicular support. obviously im new and still learning the script but i really hope to turn out some fantastic coop missions.

hey there! im playing right now! i am running a server call tactical gamming buz in arma 2. i am disappointed with all the evo and domination servers out there. its not the only way to play arma 2! if you wanna play some solid action missions with an emphasis on tactical gaming, with clear defined objectives and emphasis on small groups and tactics. i wanna start playing small games of coop on arma 2 because i think the game is very good for this type of game play and its better performance wise for your pc. i also like utes for these reasons (shame to see all servers running chernogrask).

hey guys. im here to tell you that even a modest machine can run arma 2 at low to normal settings. i had a pentium D 3.0 Ghz 2GB ddr2 ram and a 5400 RPM hdd (it was a dell machine purchased in 2006) and an HD 4670 card ( a very budget card). i recently spend 425 USD and built my own budget rig. im running 2.8 Ghz Phenom II x 3 tri-core processor, 1333 Mhz DDR3 4GB RAM, 7200 RPM HDD, and with the same card I get almost double framerates.i suspect the card was previously bottlenecked by a pentium D. in far cry 2 i get around 60 fps on very high settings 1280*1024. im looking to get a new card though, possibly a 5770 ATI but I wonder if 128 bit is enough for 1280*1024 (which is what i will play for a long time).

is there any real advantage to 256 bit vs 128 bit video card? the 5770 looks good but for just 10 more i can get a 4870.

well gunny CM didnt release a demo and i fell for the hype. i can see why it was MSRPed at 39.99 USD. and steam will just tell me that i need to talk to CM for support im sure. and harryohh said he doesnt want a crap game. damn it to hell!

hey guys here are my specs amd 720 phenom II x3 BE 2.8 Ghz 3 core processor 4GB 1333 Mhz DDR3 RAM 320 GB 7200 RPM HDD ATI HD 4670 512 MB DDR3 19 inch monitor Vista Ultimate I can play arma 2 editor (UTES) and get 30-50 FPS on normal/low settings at 1024*728. i wanna upgrade my video card so i can play on high and at 1280*1024. does anyone have suggestions for something within 100-150 USD?

hey guys thanks for the responses. yes compared to arma 2 op flashpoint 2 is garbage but thats my opinion. what i had in mind is that i could GIFT opfpdr through steam to someone and they could gift arma 2 to me.

i purchased operation flashpoint 2 on steam and was would like to trade my copy for a copy of ARMA 2. if u are interested let me know
