I am trying to reinstall Arma 2 from my original disk, but I am getting an error that says: Source: D:\ARMA2\AddOns\characters2.pbo Destination: C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\AddOns\characters2.pbo Stays on this file for a very long time, graphics screen cycles to new picture, and progress bar moves 3 or 4 segments, back and forth, then gives me this error: File copy error (CRC does not match). C:\Programfiles\bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\AddOns\chatarters2.pbo Then only gives my the option to click OK. Then says Setup has encountered an error. Application may not work properly. And only gives me the option to click OK. Then exits, with no Bohemia files on my PC. What do I do? Xp version, original DvD disk ---------- Post added at 08:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:04 PM ---------- Thanks anyway. The problem seemed to resolve itself after a good disk cleaning. Maybe had a thumb print on it or something. Thanks again.

When using Addon Sync 2009, I cannot launch games that have the x/oac/oac_core mod. When I try, I get erro, cannot open file x/oac/oac_core/addpns/oac_core.pbo I have all the latest downloads from oac and caa, so what gives? CBA and ACE2 work just fine, but oac does NOT work and I bet caa doesn't either. What am I doing wrong?

Yep, Me too. I did go to the OAC_core site in YAS and downloaded it from there play. The names of the files were the same so unless there is a difference, I hope it's okay, but I'm a noob so I have no idea what the hell is going on.

Okay I'm downloading the CAA1-full-clasic.7z and the OAC_core, using YAS and I have the .7 unzipper program, and I have a few questions. 1. I downloaded each into their own @ mod file. This created an x directory into the @CAA1 AND @OAC_core. Is this correct? Or, should I have just put them into the arma 2 file where it creates an x dirctory with CAA1 and OAC_core subdirectories, then move them into the appropriate file and eliminated the x file? 2. Did I download the correct CAA1 file? It was 2 gig, so it seems I did. 3. Now what what comoes next? 4. It talks about adding a "modline" when using yas, "-mod=x\caa1;x\oac\oac_core" WTF??? I never played arma1, so what you guys are taking for granted is loosing me. :) 5. What other mods are "recommended?" I'm getting this mod because I got kicked for not having it. What else should I grab? Sorry, if this has been posted a hundred times, but I was hopong for a cut and paste. Thanks ahead of time for any help.
