    Well thats the joy of a forum, Its there to air opinions and offer advice, Whilst also revelling in the attention and ignoring said advice (Not aimed at anyone, So dont) I know most of the Arma old boys arent so keen on PR because it will bring battlefield fanbase to the game, Which is only going to be a problem when they all register here and say.. Well BF does this, why cant arma blah blah blah. As for PVP i do try to play it with my clan and any other clan that can muster the people, but PR is really going to revolutionise this area of the game. So much looking forward to it.

    Looking beautiful Gnome. Not to take away from the fine effort you're putting into it. But with such a large deck space, any chance you could look into allowing players to move around the deck without falling off the ship?

    Patriot, That is a major pain in the ass, Ive have encountered it many times. The only way around it, is when you 'put something down' make sure the point at which you double click (to bring up unit selector) is as flat as possible. Otherwise the 'wall' will put its seat flat on the terrain where you clicked. I hope this helps

    It is very conceivable that you have the worst computer in the arma community. Im still astounded to how you manage to play A2OA:CO without getting annoyed. PR devs, i know you have beta testers already, but if you wanted to test how your mod works on greatly configured but no so great in hardware, Use hellfire!

    [Alpha] RTE for ArmA II

    For installation and use on OA/CO 1. Download latest RTE capture.exe 2. install RTE to default directory (default means the one that it says automatically) 3. run rte capture on desktop. 4. Select folder where you want @RTEditor installed to. 5. click next a few times. This is where i had trouble, @RTEditor did not install for me after this point. So i had to download the 7zip file and manually place the @RTEditor folder in my arma2 folder. I do not use UAC so this is fine for me here. Add @RTEditor to modline Change arma2.exe to arma22.exe Change arma2oa.exe to arma2.exe Run shortcut with @RTEditor; in and make sure the other mods you use are in the target line as well. Run RTE capture. Load Editor> select map>put player unit down> preview Once on the ground press ESC and click Run RTECapture menu (should be under exit, if its not then you've not installed it right) a few seconds later you'll be in the 3d editor and begin pulling your teeth out with your hair almost immediately! Ionos, I love this program, but its damn fiddly!

    Right click the game on steam and run as combined ops. Or ask for your money back and get the game from sprocket, Its unfortunate that you've already got the game from steam as most if not all will always recommend against buying from steam.... Nightmate

    Arma 2 Flight Yoke Support?

    I have the saitek yoke and throttle quad, i believe the use of the quad isnt possible, but flying anything bigger than the AN2 would be a blast with the yoke :-D

    Ive just updated, When installing, do i keep the original @RTE addon? because if so, then.. Crap EDIT: NVM <bangs head on desk> Ive installed the new update and played around again adding objects. I checked in the 'tree' and it only had what id put down in there, It didnt replicate each object various times, but when merging to a clean sqm and then reloading to get the objects on the 2d editor, some of them had replicated again. It seems that they replicate when not on the ground, Yesterday i placed on Kord gun about 3 stories up on a tower bunker which was on top of a large bunker, and it replicated the kord about 5 times. I had another kord on the ground that hadnt replicated its self. Cheers. Jack

    Hello anders, I just checked and like you said it does with with ACE and it works with ACRE And Jayarma2lib. The mods from the 'unit' mod pack are :- FDF podagorsk Fallujah Isla Duala - and all that comes with it Panthera Thisk/winter Japhato Capraia RKSL core and Typhoon GRU spetsnaz. If anyone has the issue where disposable weapons will not 'reload' when first equipped check to see if you have any of the above mods enabled. Putting each mod into its own mod folder is going to be a ball ache, but ill see if i have time later on. Good release though anders!

    I found a bug, It stops you from 'reloading' at4, at4 cs/rs, m72a2, Nlaw, RPG22. Im guessing its the same for the RPG27. When i say reload, i mean the initial set up of the weapon to prepare it to fire. All seems good though :-D Congrats on the release Mods i use, are all of ace, and a clan mod pack, Ill try again in the morning with just ace and SOA and see if its conflicting with ace or something in our mod pack

    Im getting a bit of an issue here, Im not using the latest version, As i started using RTE about an hour before it was released and im still pissing around on it. But when i reload a mission after exporting to sqm, Theres at least 3 of everything that i put down. Im in OA:CO using the arma2.exe namechange

    Do you want upgraded Arma 2 content?

    I voted for yes, as long as it was for free. However after thinking after clicking, I came up with the thought that if BIS upgraded arma2 units to OA standard, for them to charge for it, id like to see the implentation of more features, features that pyscically change the game. Such as :- To be able to shoot from a vehicle, even to fire you're weapon in the vehicle at the vehicle, For a helo pilot to drop off a squad, but engage an enemy running with bayonet through the window of his UH-1 destroyed 'parts' such as doors coming off cars and trucks, glass (buildings) A fully functional 3d editor would always go down well, so if you're going to upgrade things, Do this! The ability to move around a moving vehicle, Ship, Herc, Chinook, Merlin all with the ability to be thrown out of said vehicle if the person isnt 'holding on' It would be great to actually see out of humvee windows, Rather than watching 10 meters of ground go by. Sorry its jumbled up, I just woke up and typing isnt my strongest point at the best of times...

    MAF2Ext - Release 2.1

    Hi, A bit of a bug ive found when having your mod turned on, In the action menu, it gives me the option to turn a light on. At night its like i have a torch on my head illuminating the way. The problem is, Its there whatever i do in the game, Be it the single play campaign or user made missions. Love the mirage though :-D

    Ive never played BF:PR but from what ive read over the months, They plan to change alot of the way Arma is, From regular movement to running around etc etc. Its going to change the game completely... I think
