Im Gruntcrazy and im a huge fan of operation flashpoint and i have recently purchased Arma 2 and was looking for a group to join, I can't stand playing a military sim if im on the ground, i know it's being a little picky. But i would love to join a group that has a nice ranking system and has room for a pilot that has played before, and knows how to dominate! AND more importantly i would like a group that knows how to have fun, when that time calls for it. I hope someone responds to this! P.S. even though i love planes and helis, i did spend 2 months working with a defensive tank brigade, but it's more of a fallback. THANKS!!!!!!!! :D

hi im grunt, im looking for a squad or clan or group that that likes to play on weekends, and weeksdays, pretty much any time. I get on ALOT, and im very excited to join a group of people that like to do anything. i dont want to join a serious clan. im looing for a clan that wants to have fun, can be serious when it's nesasary, and a clan that will play any editor game, even borderguard....lulz anyone that would like to take ol grunty on the clan ride i am more than willing to join anyone and i mean ANYONE that just wants to have fun. :D Sincerly, the grunty grunt from gruntington P.S. late at night i get crazy and do stupid stuff, jsut a warning....jk P.s.s i like pie P.s.s.s RPing is fun to but not all the time.

This game is awsome i agree and i have ONLY PLAYED THE DEMO. i know it's a fail but if i like the demo and played the demo fro like 5 hours means im guna like the game right? P.S. flying helicopters is easy once u get a hang of it, are planes easier?

so you can fly helicopters. jets, tanks ,esc with the 360 controller just fine? and how long did it take to set it up? is it worth it? thankyou so much i kept crashing in the demo this game is quiet diffrent, i enjoy it. if this game was like cod i would be disapointed. the only thing im having trouble with is flying and the map maker, where is the menu when u spawn objects and ais and shit. it so confusing but hey that's why im on the forum, glad to have you guys helpin me. :D

are the vehicles and guns easier to us on DR?

I tryed the demo it has about the graphics of Oblivion which, i find incredible for the amount of objects on-screen. So far the only problem you can have is if you suck at flying the helicopter. (me sadly) im temped to buy the game after i get my 360 controller set up on the game....woot

When i was playing the demo i realized that flying helicopters is not as easy as it was in Flashpoint, and i was wondering if it was possible to set up an xbox360 controller to run on ARMA 2. I can set up my controller to work on my pc but before i start downloading things, has anyone else heard of or IS using a diffrent controller then the keyboard?:confused:

I dont know if i can really say anything because i have never palyed it, but i did play operation flashpoint so i can say that first person mode is pretty much only usingfull for better views and for driving trucks and tanks.

how much diffrent is it from operation flashpoint becuase its coming out soon and i just found out about this game and was wondering if this game was any better, so far it seems to be, i can deal with bad graphics and glitches i mean seriously i played the first operation flashpoint lulz. and i heard you can be a rabbit? dats weird.

First, i know someone else a long time ago problebly already made this thread but im to lazy(isnt everyone?). second, what does ARMA stand for? seriously i couldnt find it anywhere:nervous:. Third, if you have anthing that would make it worthwhile to get this game please say your fill. and what makes this game better than operation flashpoint hmm?:rolleyes: thanks for anything anyone can tell me, i am uterly clueless about this game.:D p.s.: why have i never heard of this game?
