Hey guys We are a group of friends that just like to jump on and play, we are not a clan or anything like that theres no rank structure. We make missions and we play them your not obliged to do so many games or anything. We just all jump on and play when we can there is a steam group containing 50 members (Not all of them are active) called Copsys Coop games arma3. Hey guys, www.casualcoopers.eu website octane.bluefangsolutions.com:9999 is the Teamspeak3 address I am here to introduce my group and we are called Casual Co-opers. We are a group of players who get together each day and play a few missions. There are about 10 active members but some have went on vacations because it is summer but just today we did an op with 13 people on the server. We let public members join our usual missions and we are looking in to using ACRE for communications. How we started We started as just me and I hosted a mission one day waiting for people to join then asked them to wait while more people joined. Eventually this turned out to be a regular thing and people added me on steam and kept comming back until we eventually made a steam group and it has 38 members. We then all went on and discussed what we could do with this great thing we had done, most of us wanted to make a casual gaming unit. So we came up with Casual Co-Opers. How we work We dont require any experience in arma we can teach you all you need to know. Its a casual unit so you can attend what ever missions you want or do not want. We do host training but its not a requirement to attend either its just to help improve our teamwork skills and get to know each others gameplay styles. We now have a teamspeak 3 and a server (Details at the bottom) and we are looking in to acre however a mic is not a requirement for playing with us, but a mic is required for pilots and admins. Roles are appointed on a first come first serve basis with the exception of pilots who must undergo a flying test by our flight instruction alpha reaper, but squad roles like machine gunners and marksmen are appointed by whoevers gets them first. Squad leaders usually stay to the admins of CC but we have no problems letting other people lead if they ask us. When we play CC plays at least one mission everyday or every other day. We are trying to schedule co-ops in advance as much as possible so we can get a bigger turnout. Timezones Most of our members are from europe/UK but we do have one or two exceptions. Our pilot is from the states and he can still regularly play with us. There are no set mission times at the minute but most people do come on teamspeak just to chill for a while, while we make missions for them to play. Hey everyone im looking for a squad that is UK or Euro timezone based. Dont care about ingame based but i am looking for something that is realistic but fun but not realistic where it takes the fun out of the game. Not looking to be a pilot or anything just want a nice game experience with an organised squad and throw me right down in the shit with the infantry. Arma 2 Never recieved such an extensive hype Neither did arma 1 Consider both were sequels to OFP and Arma 2 was Armed assaults Sequel I think it may be a whole new expansion Just like arrowhead but completely reworked physics etc But im also open to the possibility it could be ArmA3 None of us will know for another 13 hours 30 minutes!!!!!!!!

I just hope what ever BI decided to release they release it relativley soonish I dont want to waste my summer waiting on this awesome expasnion / game / imrpoved engine or what ever it is just to find out that after i played it i have to start school again. as to what it is Improved Ai Or Improved Physics would be the best thing in teh world I just hate it when they ai get stuck in buildings and dont go over bridges ! Or when im 10 Meters in the air dead but still doing an animation But yet arma2 is still so awesome!!! BRING ON THE ANNOUNCEMENT !!!!!

Im sorry i just must be retarded ive looked at the FAQ and readmes but i cant seem to find any manpacks in game ive got the handheld radios but i cant find any manpacks. Any solutions? - I also messed around with units as my first guess but none start with man packs? Edit - never mind found it in post 5 !!

Welcome to Thor Security Services (TSS) We play as a Private Military Company, starting off in the competitive business of contracting known as “The Circuitâ€. While we do not want to lose the fun of playing Arma2, we will be concentrating on immersion within the game and because of this, we will add certain realistic aspects to our clan. The main aspect is the fact that we will operate using a banking system. TSS will start off with its own Account, from which we will have our initial funds that we will be able to buy our equipment from, because all we start with is the clothes on our back. In order to complete the contracts that we will be assigned we will need to buy not only the individual equipment, but also any vehicles we need. To make money, we have to spend money and so every gun, bullet, bomb, truck and missile will be bought with the funds from our Account. However, when we complete a contract we will receive our payment, which may vary due to the success of the mission. Everything we buy will be kept in our stores and there will be an inventory of it, so there can be no cheating or losing of kit. If it is blown up in the field then it will be lost forever, however if it is just left undamaged in the area of operations then it can be recovered for a fee or it may become part of our next mission to retrieve it. This will simply add to the immersion as players begin to take care of their kit and start to have to think tactically about which equipment they can afford to buy and what will be necessary. TSS uses its own modpack along with ACE 2 to provide a stable platform from which we can create and play the best missions that are available. To do this we have a dedicated team of staff, to ensure the effective and smooth running of clan life. So why do you want to join TSS? Well we pride ourselves with being something different than just your bog standard military unit. We dont name ourselves after real military units and we dont pretend to be soldiers.
