Running TFAR and everything seems to be working good except the radio_sound-pack that adds radio clicks and add great immersion. Running the latest TS3 and TFAR, does this sound-pack still work? If so has the install/setup changed? Thanks...

I have win 7 I7-3930k 2 x 680 gtx - many with nvidia have this same issues 32gb ram Devs you have heard this one before, many many time. Game is unplayable because it locks up and then BSOD my rig after 1-5min of game play. I have done everything under the sun and still its the same just like countless others peeps. But I have not found any devs trying to solve this issue. Its time to uninstall Arma 3 and just move on.

It looks like I finally solved it. i stressed test CPU, GPUs, and RAM all passed. So then I know it had to be bios settings or some third-party software conflict. My ram comes out of the box with recommend setting, which just happens to be OC since its high performance ram. So i decided to knock it down just a touch and hot dam no crashes since. The strange thing is it was never a issue pre-apex or in other games. Thanks for the suggestions guys...

I have been buying and playing this since operation flash point and have hit a wall with these crashes. Its not that I want to uninstall. I try ever few months to fix these crashes and find a new fix but nothing ever seems to change. Is there a way to get a dev or someone with knowledge to help.

jhebbel.....did you try setting your shortcut to compatibility to win xp? I don't think it has anything to do with video cards. Its likely something to do with administration settings within win7.

I tend to think it is win 7 64bit..maybe its the 64 bit. I have seen other programs do similar stuff with win 7 64bit and win x 64 bit. Usually changing the compatibility work, I tried it with CO and so far it worked but only for 1 hour testing. I have a similar issue...I get lockups actually, but i also have win 7 64 bit and suspect this might be the issue

I stepped away from arma2 with ace2 for a couple of months. I wanted to start playing again so I went to update ace2 with addonsync and no matter what I do I cant get 30-40 .pbo files to unpack. I have tried many different patch host and download the full version and I keep getting the same bad install. The patch system is porked. I read in another post its because its a unified patch with stream and registry issues that this might cause. The point is I need to reinstall arma 2 and I cant patch it! winxp 64bit

Yes Sir that did the trick...The 1.05 patch is only good after Arma 2 is patched up to 1.04. thanks brother!

I thought I would add...That I have win xp 64bit and im getting the same issue. Also this is post is misnamed, this is not a resolved issue. I have the download copy and not the stream copy. This does nothing for me? They need to fix the patch installer or what ever is the problem.

I have been messing around with the UAV and have not seen or been able to keep the UAV in free flight behavior. I have been able to takeoff and maneuver with my hotas but shortly following the drone starts a orbit that no longer allows me to control the flight surfaces. This cant be the finished desired modeling result because it reduces the value of this resource significantly. Am I missing something or is it under developed? Thx!

During game play...how do I put waypoint/s on my map and then see it when im in game? I did it before and it was a goldish arrow buy cant remember how i did it. thx

I have noticed for sometime now when I'm in a tank or APC the graphics change inside and outside of these vehicles. Its like the gama or something gets whacked, the display becomes grainy or snowy. Has anyone seen this before its starting to drive crazy? :) AMD 64 X2 6000+ Nvidia XFX 260 black edition XXX new ASUS 23" LCD monitor win xp 64bit

I did a piss poor job of explaining this issue...my bad. It becomes a issue when Im in tanks and APC using the optics to get a view of the outside world. The colors darken, so maybe its shading but when I exit the vehicle it stays the same, darker. I wonder if its pulling the darker graphics from memory? Next time i will try to go to a new area for newly rendered graphics.

Is this compatible with ACE if not can somebody make it compatible with ACE?

Excuse me for being dense about moding...this will not work in a general install/place and run the game will it? It will only run a missions made through the editor?

Im with kju...how do you install this? What mission folder (When you make a mission?) How do you run NBRandomizer.sqs? What is the init field? etc. Im new to this type of moding in arma. Those instructions are not noob friendly at all. I do want to learn so i can try this mod. thanks
