I was told that if you wanted to play against the AI with a buddy, you had to host a campaign using the Single Player mode (I know, I though it was strange as well). It does work but we want to play it without the friendly AI getting in the way. I was just wondering if there is a way to turn them off.

We are using single player to play coop. I host a campaign and my buddy joins it. I take it you can't disable the AI in that mode? Is there a way to play coop in multiplayer where it is me and a friend against the AI?

I am going to Single Player, hosting a match, and when I am in the screen that shows who is who (the 4 players) I can't seem to disable the AI. There are AI icons next to each slot but I can't do anything with them. Can those be turned off or disabled or is that only allowed in Multiplayer?

How do you disable the AI in coop mode? It says the AI can be toggled on or off. If me and a friend want to go without the AI how do we disable it? Thanks.

When we enter the battle field, we get a small "chain" icon on the screen that shows a broken link. I can only imagine what that means. How do I fix it? What does the chain mean? I'm sorry for all of this but I'm a bit frustrated right about now!

I was able to figure that out. The problem we're having is my friend has no control once we're in the game. He see's what I see and when I move, his moves. How do we both get someone to control? I set it up in the panel. I gave him Sykes but he wasn't Sykes in the game, he was me and I was me (that's confusing).

It's been a long time since I've done this so please forgive me if this is a "dumb" question. My buddy and I just purchased ArmA2 and want to play it Co-OP (us against the AI). How do we do that or is it even an option in this game? We are getting together tonight over LAN and are hoping to have this figured out so we can fire it up. Thanks for any help on this issue.
