lol within ten mins of orginally posting this thread i had fixed the prob thx anyways.

I just reinstalled windows after upgrading my mobo and my cpu. For some reason when I start Arma 2 the first thing that happens is my screen goes black and my monitor says out of range? any help?

I've heard that if I use the attachTo command properly you can get helos to lift mbt's is this true? if so how can i do this?

Is it possible to play the single player campaign cooperatively with a friend either over the internet or lan?

Anyone know how I can set Arma 2 so that when I start the game it goes straight to the menu?

Does anyone know of a purely client sided script or addon that will give aircraft defensive flares aganist missles? One in which no data what so ever is needed on the server?

im not whining about dling a mod im pissed about the fact my clans server is wacked and wont load up the mod therefore i want a client sided one u seeme like u didn't really read my original post?

I've been playing Arma 2 for a short time now and I only have 2 suggestions for the love of god cant you have a missile lock warning included in all aircraft so that you know when your about to be fired on. And customiable loadouts like maybe you want to have all laser guided bombs. Oh and one thing I just remembered how about the ability for lift helicopters to be able to lift main battle tanks like the M1A1. hopefulyl these are things that will be included in the next patch

How do I lock on to laser targets with laser guided artillery rounds? any help out there?

i dont see it as a cheat and the reason i ask is because my clans server has probs running addons

If I were to just download Arma 2 from say a torrent site but buy a legit cd key from a website, would i technically own the game?

Unfortunately you still need ur dvd in in ur dvd drive to play with patch 1.04 what a bummer i have several games that u dont need ur cd or dvd in their drive for and its so convient

So if i put this detach command after the attachto command i can attach and deattach a tank whenever i want just like humvees and other vehicles

Yeah it works but I want it to be able to detach the tank too. is that possilbe?

How do I edit user created missions? For instance I got a copy of a map from my clans server, got an Un-pbo tool unpboed it got a bunch of folders and files made sure they were all squared away in my multiplayer missions folder went to boot up the multiplayer editor expecting to see be colored instead of grey and the ability to edit and nope cant do it. Any help like to edit some maps for our clan to make them better in ways which we would like and this is a big hindrance. any help is appericated

I guess id have to do some editing then to the maps. So how what would I edit and how would I type the command?

Is there an Arma 2 Un PBO Tool

Our clan has a dedicated server through art of war provider and we have all the necessary files in the proper places in the server folders and even have the target line edited but yet the add on wont work for us any advice?

Our clan is hosting a dedicated server we are attempting to run the RKSL mod on it. We have the mod folder in place on the server and supposedly we have the command line data entered correctly yet the mod doesnt work any help?

Alrite well what about unguided rounds how do i use that little horizontal targeting map that u can turn on and off? i dont rly understand how to use it any manuals or anything

Well what I meant was if im on the artillery piece and some guy with a laser designator desginates a target how do i lock that target? I tired pressing tab it dont work
